Yuk or mmmmmmmmmmm?
I worry whats floating about it the water,hence the only time ive done anything sexual in a jacuzzi was in a brand new one and I was the first in it

they have to be spotlessly clean or the temp of the water has the bacteria multiply a million fold......
widna get me in one for all the tea in china.... 
unless newly cleaned... me in the water, everyone else not.....

my sister is a lecturer in cross infection and the stories she has told me, has put me off for life.
also I have seen couples shag and cum, guys shag and cum.. and even a lady sit in one with that all going on and she had her period ..
and thats for real...

depends on chemicals used to clean and there is a fine balance..
same as many people don't consider towels used in clubs..
they must be washed at a very very high temp to ensure anyone with craps has not left anything behind...
also beds etc etc in club

We used to frequent a club that had a large hot tub,.
Nooooooooo way would we ever get into one.
By the end of the night it'd be like sitting in porage oats,no telling what might swim up you. EEEUUWWWWW!

Well, this is all well and good but the quoted article does say "where the tub temperature is not maintained above 85F" which is quite a bit below body temperature.
"Hot tubs, too, have sometimes been rumored to be a source of STDs. But the chlorine and mineral salts used in these tubs are generally deadly to STD microbes. As an editorial in the Journal of the American Medical Association once put it, the question of whether you can get an STD from a hot tub depends entirely on what you're doing in the tub.
People must ensure that proper chlorine and mineral levels are maintained at all times and the temperature never drops below 85 degrees Fahrenheit"
We've been in three apart from ours, and body temp is the norm, which is 98F approx, so you need to read the article bearing that in mind.
Hot tubs are fun, but you do need to look after them.... |

hmmm well..... last december when we were in the dominican we had an upgrade to the resort which had an adults only pool area. lol so was very fun when people didnt have a clue what you were up2 lol an innocent wee cuddle in the pool lol |

I don't doubt you'll encounter some of the risks in the public baths but I'd have thought the higher temperature in a jacuzzi is a more suitable for bug growth that a swimming pool and I reckon the swimming pool water is cycled and cleansed more frequently and more professionally than in a home hot tub. You'd need to balance that against the fact there'll be a lot more people with a lot more bugs etc than at home. |

The gene pool as i dub these club based jacuzzi's are in my opinion not safe simply because anal sex is allowed to take place in many of them.
I know someone who has gone into one well know midland clubs and picked up serious ear nose and throat infections on 3 occasions,so serious it meant lengthy time off work on each occasion she has finally learnt her lesson.
For the chlorination to stand a chance of working effectively it has to be used in conjunction with the correct ph level and the amount required varies according to the amount of people using it .Also to remove the semen industrial grade water scrubbers have to be used and backwashed on a regular basis.
No chance i would ever go near one,one club to my knowledge keeps its jacuzzi to German standards which are far higher than the uks and also does not allow full sex to take place. |

its all about maintaing them properly...... we have one and hubby checks ph levels etc on a daily basis..... the fliters can only do so much of the work...... its a fine balance to keep to to a very high standard, and i myself would never consider enteringone in any sports centre or club....... best sure way to check see how clean or even how dirty it is, see it when turned off, you would bevery surprised what is on the top of the water if its not clean.yukkkkkkkk........ we also makesure we put fresh water in before we invite anyone over for a tub.so they can be a great deal of fun when taken care of...... |

I had an amazing time once in the jacuzzi at chams, it was as they opened , so it was all nice and clean .
and we only sort of played but got so carried away and it was sooo erotic that we failed to notice we had company, all the single guys wanking around us watching. lmao

We use the hot tub at Youtopia but it is spotlessly clean and is cleaned out after every session. There is a no sex rule in place although I am sure it does happen occasionally or very late on.. we only go in for a dip and a chill out but as I said it is drained every night so we know it is ok .. not sure I would play in one in someones house or another club as you never know what has gone on in it or when it was last cleaned. |

Quite a bizarre read, folks will happily go to a club and apart from insisting on a condom for penetrative sex will happily munch/slurp/suck etc etc with complete strangers yet worry about catching STD's from the Jacuzzi 
God knows how some of you must use the toilets in a club, after all apparently you can get pregnant from a loo seat |

it's more having a bath in a load jizz etc etc..
the STD part is always something to be aware of .. and never risk free.
I play but also attend for very regular screening for my and others protection.

We often use the Jacuzzis at Chams and have yet to find whats being described here. Maybe we are in early before they get topped up with man fat or maybe the club are very good at keeping them clean but on our list of potential risks this is quite a way down  |

In the real world.. we'd agree, low risk.. Mine isn't so much the risk of catching anything.. more, a risk of stuff attaching itself to me or Mrs Notts.. We use friends jaccuzzi's who we assume don't keep having sex in it.. but we don't know for sure.. but in a club or a party.. think we'd be pretty certain theres something floating about lol.. |

The clubs I have been to have kept clean tubs when I've seen then and clean them out regularly.
The problem with most is that the chemicals in theses 'public' tubs are often much higher in concentration to stop problems but will dry the skin more quickly.
Foreplay in tubs is great, but the heat and the lack of lubrication makes going further difficult. LOL Tease, touch, warm up, then shower before playing else where.
I ALWAYS have a shower after and never dip my head below the surface. Never had a problem (but then I’ve only seen well maintained tubs.)

Clean tubs will have no film or foam scum on the surface and a temperature gauge showing water temperature above 85 degrees F. is extremely important. Outdoor hot tubs are also much healthier against contracting lung infections.”
PS For reference most public tubs are kept at 37-38 DegC and 85F in about 29.5 DegC, I have never seen a tub that cold and would not even get in if I did! LOL
Life is about risk and understanding risk, we here accept certain types of risk; a clean tub is normally less risky than general (safe) club play. It’s your choice.
But please there seems to be a bit of hysteria here, judge on merit at the time and don’t throw the fun out with the tub water.

Same here, been going over 4 years and 'touch wood' never caught anything. Have been there when the jacuzzi didn't meet the H & S requirment - they do check all the levels every hour - and they have closed it.
But each to their own just like everything else in this lifestyle you take yer choices |
