Changes to Hot Photos!! :-)

No sure if anyone’s noticed - but hot photos has changed in the last few hours!
There are now 21 pictures per page (as opposed to the previous 15/16)
The bottom pic of the previous page isn’t repeated on the top of the next page
..... and there are now 14/15 pages as opposed to the previous 10
Why am I pointing this out??
Because there are now almost TWICE as many pictures on hot photos - which means far more people will get to hot photos!
It also means that, if all of you who are site supporters went though all those pics and fabbed the pics that you like - there’d be far more chances to get new faces (or body parts!  ) onto page 1 - the current lack of which is something that lots have complained about in recent months!
Sooooo - now loads of people will get to hot photos - and it’s easier to get new people to page 1!

Non site supporters can only view page one my lovely - which is why there’s always been a big discrepancy between the no of fabs on page 1 and those on other pages! X |

Well when I last looked, you only needed 65 fabs to get on there - which, presumably, means that people who go on the fabbing threads etc stand a good chance of getting on there! |

Im struggling to understand why people care about this. I know it's all in the eye of the beholder etc but I often wonder why some pictures are so liked don't get me wrong there are also some stunning ones. I think as long as you like your own pictures thats all that matters.
But if this makes a difference then its a good thing |

The only reason I posted this thread, my lovely, is because of the number of negative threads/posts there’ve been in recent months about both hot photos and the people who make it to hot photos!
I’m hoping that, now twice as many people can make it to hot photos, this will alleviate the unpleasantness! X |

The only reason I posted this thread, my lovely, is because of the number of negative threads/posts there’ve been in recent months about both hot photos and the people who make it to hot photos!
I’m hoping that, now twice as many people can make it to hot photos, this will alleviate the unpleasantness! X"
Oh I wasn't having a go at you in the slightest. I don't make it to the hotty pages so I have no idea what you are talking about however I can imagine the shit that flys or unpleasantness. |

Can’t see how it helps get new people onto page 1 as you’re still going to need in excess of 400+ votes to get there.
The only way to make a real difference would be to open up all the pages to non-site supporters. |

Okay so I’ve looked again today at Hot Pics just to make sure I wasn’t being dismissive.
Page 1 still needs 400+ to make the bottom of the page so possibly the jump between top of 2 might be a little more doable but I doubt it.
To reach the dizzy heights of Page 2 will be easier, currently just over 200 will be enough. |

It's splendid! We got one photo onto the old format page 1, to about 8th position, but the two that went to page 1 since both hovered around position 16/17 for a day or so, so they would have been at the top of page 2 with the old version!

I fail to see why anyone on here should feel like they shouldn’t want to be ‘top’ of the pops ?
Personally I take it as a huge compliment when my pics are up there - there are many stunning girl on here 20 years my junior and without the wears of 3 kids. Everyone that puts pics up are hoping someone likes what they see to attract a meet etc
I spent my whole life with a bully that put me down so I praise anyone that has the courage to show what many others hide away

The site is a swinging site , designed for people to chat , meet to socialise or to play. Of course putting a pic up is a ‘look at me’ otherwise there is no reason to share a pic
Those that put fake pics up have their own agenda
I don’t think it’s fair for anyone to critique the reasoning why someone likes / seeks or gets ‘ Fab Fame’
If it gives them a boost then surely that’s a nice thing

Yeah, but part of the disquiet about this thread is the focus of the admin of a 'swinging site' prioritising picture fabs over more swing friendly improvements.
I don't think there is a 'look at me' reason for uploading pics for most people. Some park their pics straight into private and plenty just put them on for reference.
Anyone can critique what they like, it's what forums are for and full of! |
