Not that it's on our "To Do List" but surprising to know that over 7,000 years ago there was an area known as Doggerland. Unfortunately though fo all those looking for it, it's below sea level now........ So that's why it's so hard to find
It was the stretch of land between the UK and Europe before sea levels rose. Every day is a school day lol |

At very low tides you can still walk out far enough to see the petrified/preserves tree trunks of he most western point of doggerland. (Sad geeky side just popped out) |
