I had a situation recently which I thought wad really weird and wrong.

I met a man (with his wife's permission) a couple of times. I then got a PM from another man who said he had been recommended me by the man's wife apparently she had met him and thought that I should too. She even showed him mu pictures

I think it is wrong to discuss previous meets by name and therefore "recommend" someone.

Unless touchy is one of the Little Miss, in which case if you are Little Miss Touchy, I would like to be Mr Feely

I wouldn`t disagree that sharing pics might well be insensitive and indiscreet ( sic )??..

I am very careful about who I play with and am very discrete, I would never give out anyones name without prior consent and expect the same.

There is a fine line between recomendation and gossip - disclosing my personal business.

When I hear someone discussing someone else it puts me off, so I think she was bang out of order, it's not her business and its not like you were even friends with her.

ive had guys mail me saying id said i would meet them last time we spoke when we have never mailed each other before

some peopel will go to any lenths

The woman could have mearly said she had met you and hes added the rest on for good measure

The wife has never met me but I was a friend on their profile (not now) which is how she showed him the pics

Obviously her husband discussed me with her and she decided to 'pass' me on lol

i dont think recommending someone is out of order no. Ive met people and instantly thought that they would be a good match for someone i know or have played with before. Ive also been recommended to a guy and its turned out to be a great meet!

If you have pics on your profile then you need to be prepared that anyone can see them. I really dont see the issue.

i think that she should have raised the issue with the op before he got an approach from her oh. but the thing that people seem to miss is that it was her husband and therefore i assume they live together - surely many couples share the mails and pics they exchange with others with their partners as part of the fun??

I don't think that recommending someone as such is wrong. To be honest that's how we have met quite a few lovely people through friends.

BUT showing someone your private pictures without permission is wrong!

i had actually the same thing happen to me a while back,,we had met a cpl and then i had a txt mesage from some random bloke id never met sayn the fem from the cpl "recomended" me to meet him

i txt back sorry i dont know you please delete my number i then txt the fem to say please dont give my number out to random blokes please,

needless to say we have never met them again,total cheek!!

id say verifications are sort of recomendations so thats all i need

I don't think what you've been saying is the actions of a woman here. Unless they had veris (which even then can be faked) it's impossible to say if he was part of a couple.

Agreed, if you have public profile pics and these were showed it no different than someone else just checking your profile.

However, if she showed private pics that people only you want to see then yes thats wrong..

It's how the world works to a larger degree.

it's always good to meet through recommendation although a heads up first before hearing from the the new chap is preferable.

There does need to be an attraction.

Pics shouldn't really be shown without prior permission, especially if the face is visible.
