There are quite a few ladies who will not meet a guy who's profile states Bi. And I have absolutely no problem with that. Each to their own.
One thing I would be curious about though, is why?
I ask, because, if it is the idea of being with a guy who may have had a cock in his mouth or his cock somewhere else, then I have news.
Its probably is'nt news to many, but its a fact anyway.
There are loads (and I mean LOADS) of guys on here who say Straight on their profile, but are'nt. And they have had many many meets with guys. They don't leave or like to receive feedback, to protect their 'Straightness' but they are out there, trust me.
The difference with a guy who has 'Bi' on his profile is complete honesty, both with himself, and others.
Thoughts?

Fair point Jim. However, being disingenuous is a different matter. We have been contacted by guys who proclaim to being straight on their profiles then message us saying they are bi without reading our profile preferences first. Surely wasting everyones time? |

Exectly, another good point. I fit said Bi on their profile from the beginning, it would save a lot of wasted time. Everyone knows where they stand sexually without even having to message. |

Another case we have encountered long these lines... message from straight guy stating on his profile that he is fed up receiving messages from bi guys and tv's and he then goes on to say to us he is bi! Confused? You bet! |

For us it is down to 2 things. One is the bi guys we have come across are more effeminate and that doesn't do it for me. Secondly its down to practising safe sex and our own safety. Don't get me wrong nothing is ever totally safe but when there are so many single men available why up the odds of problems. |

I mean thats just daft. I would never, ever message anybody that says 'No bi guys' on their profile. But to try and get your foot in the door, so to speak, and say 'Actually i'm Bi, you don't mind right?' is just, well, dumb.lol |

There is a stigma attached with declaring that a man is bi (whether part of a couple or a single), strangely not true of women.
I get many messages from straight couples who then tell me that the guy is buy (and this was before I "owned" up and put bi on my profile)
I cannot receive messages from single guys, bi or not. I don't meet single bi-guys from this site. In fact i cannot receive messages from single guys, due to filters. Most of the guys that talk about being bi (from my experience) are not anally inclined (possibly the weirdest thing I have written) but enjoy the oral aspect, so riddle me this.....
If it's ok for a woman to stick a cock in her mouth, why isn't it ok for a man to do the same? |

Some straight men are indeed bi.
Some bi men are indeed gay.
But not everyone who ticks the wrong box (in your opinion) is lying or trying to mislead.
Sexual behaviour is fairly easy to fit into boxes... sexual identity isn't.
It is possible to dehumanize the source of a physical sensation and thus the gender becomes irrelevant.... in much the same way some men can fuck women they are in no way attracted to just to gain the sensation of a fuck.

I've often wondered this too. My swinging buddy said that he met a girl and she told him that she didn't want to play with him because he was bi. Not sure why she bothered to meet him since his profile is pretty clear, however, she did and when he asked her why she wouldn't play with bi men, she said that she wanted her men to be manly men. He's far from camp, effeminate or anything vaguely resembling unmanly. He's more of a man than most I've met in so many ways so I sort of don't really get how she could say that.
I love bi men. Watching two blokes together gives me the horn. I don't think it's unmanly for a bloke to such another blokes cock... I love people who are comfortable all playing together. There's not any fun for me if someone is not involved with everything. |

For me its simply a choice.. I also tend to play in groups too..and for me two guys deciding to touch would ruin a play time.. SO I stick to straight guys...(although I know in a club situation that may not be able to be held true.. but same as those that dont play with marrieds )
As I tend to on occassion meet people one to one and then work out who would work well in a 3sum again the same applies...
It also I will admit is partly the thought that they go with guys which turns me off greatly... To me it just isnt manly..( sorry to those that find it the other way. but for me it just isnt)

So the question is if being bi-sexual makes a man effeminate does being bi-sexual make a woman butch?
Duplicity?
Sorry I find rationalisation from anyone with a bi-part to their couple or i in there profile hypocritical |

It is hypocritical but then they dont have bi when the mood takes me in a group, when I may feel like it..
TO be fair I could definately have my profile as straight... as I havent played with a woman in 6 years.. and dont find them touching me in the slightest bit a turn on...
but you ask for reasons why and I have given you them...
I dont think that bi men together is a nice thing to see.. I would definately not like guys to start touching each other at a group session and it would ruin my play... So that is my main reason.
Same as I actually wouldnt like another woman in on my group play.. as I want to play with lots of cocks.. not share them and have a bit of girl on girl play.

I am not actually sure where the "bi" men are less safe bit comes in..
as I can say that I get offers from straight men all the time to go bare..
Yet only guy to ask me to use a condom for oral was a bi guy..
So think that is a left over from the early days of people discussing it.

I don't understand why some folk see that there is a bigger sexual risk from Bi guys than hetro.
I thought it was fact that the majority of STDs were spread by hetro couples. I could be wrong.....
Maybe it's the remnants of the 80/90s AIDS/HIV panic, when everyone thought is was a gay mans disease?
It's not been long since the blood donating ban on homosexual/bisexual men has been lifted.
Supposed link between homosexual sex & illness perhaps?? |

I think a lot of women dont see bi men as 'real men', they dont like the idea of playing with guys who have played with other men, a lot of women are looking for assertive 'alfa' males and to most bi men do not fit this category
Persoally i cant see the difference, if im meeting one on one does it mater if the guys bi or not? to some yes to me no
Infact i prefure bi men if im honest as i love mmf with two bi guys and just easier to arrange if its with two bi guys ive met alone in the past

Lol - but you know all us bi guys are getting fucked or sucking every night of the week.
Straight people can't keep their hands off us, and then add the ladies who want a bit of the action, and hell you can can't keep up.
According to Hollywood, all UK guys are gay or evil anyway. |

Statistics support the belief that "gay" men are far more likely to get HIV then straight men or couples, a recent study in the states concluded that a straight person would need to have unprotected sex with 5 times as many partners as a gay person to run the same probability of risk....
However, this was not run on a "swinging community", and note the word unprotected. Similarly, most bi-guys do not have anal sex (protected or unprotected) and restrict their activities to oral only. Until the site allows bi-sexual people to stipulate whether they are "fully bisexual" or just "orally" bisexual. There is no way that a couple or single can make an informed choice based on profile data alone.
As such it's about choice, given the facts at hand, and if a couple does not choose to meet guys that state "bisexual" then we should respect their choice, no matter what the rationale behind it is |

Hi Jim,
We state on our profile we won't meet Bi-Guy's, the reason being in the early part of our swinging life we did meet Bi-Guy's, though it was stipulated to them at the time that my partner was straight....but some still attempted to try and feel him even after being told, so we take no chances and don't meet anybody who states they are Bi on there profile |

Exactly, Thats just plain rude. I play totally straight if the male half of acouple is straight and thats that. With me though, its a case of just being greedy. I don't fancy men, don't ge turned on at the site of a cock really, and I would'nt say I was effeminate, or camp. I do respect the wishes of people who don't want to meet bi's, this is'nt a complaint by me in any way. I just wanted people to talk about it, and see some other opinions.

*him* I know that I can play straight (as I do, 99% of my sex life, as it is with my wife ) and I know that I would never 'try it on' with a straight guy in a 4 or more-some situation. But the straight guy and partner don't 'know' that do they? And, if they have had this happen in the past, who can blame them for avoiding bi guys?
Yep, there may be double standards at work - women can be bi without raising any eyebrows on a swingers' site, but bi blokes can still generate almost primeval reactions from some straight folk. Again, I KNOW that bi/gay sexuality isn't contagious, and I KNOW that I am neither effeminate or diseased, but this lifestyle is an emotive one, and, once more, why should anyone take a chance that they might be uncomfortable with a potential sexual playmate.
One difference between the sexes (and a possible explanation for the perceived double standards) for you to consider: a straight woman who isn't attracted to other girls can probably play on without any obvious sign of distress in proximity with bi fems, but what happens to guys when your head isn't sorted? Mr Softie??
Hey, it's a free world out there. We choose to be up front about ourselves on our profile and so far we have not had too many problems. Sure, we could have had more straight sex if we'd hidden my bi side on her, but then I'd be missing me cock fun!
And the straight sex we've had with other bi couples has been pretty bloody good too!
There are liars and cheats in all walks of life, and people you wouldn't meet or socialise with at home, at work, in the pub etc, because you don't like their accent, clothes, opinions and so on.. why would sex be any different?
Have fun.

we have no bi guys on ours, my man is straight so am i, and even if i were bi we would still not want bi guys, reason bi guys not only play with girl but guys, and if the male part of a couple is straight it's not double standards he just dont want a guy with bi tendencies lookin longingly at his cock or touching it |

I do find that there are an aweful lot of "straight" guys on here who message me. I tend to give them the polite response that I am not interested.
At the end of the day it is up to the couple to decide if they want a bi guy or not. There are many reasons why the couple might decide that, but it is their choice.
I would rather not meet a couple for fun if they would not be relaxed with me there. Even if you assure them that you can have "straight" fun. If they are uncomfortable then it ruins the moment/atmosphere.
When it comes to Sexual health I think that any group on a swingers site can be just at risk as anyother. I don't like the thought of BB, just does not seem right to me so I always play safe.

I read with great interest all the differing _iews but I think in the end its horses for courses. I personally don't find men arousing to look at it just doesn't have an effect on me at all whereas a woman can just flick that switch in my brain that makes me horny.BUT.... I'm more than happy to suck a cock especially with a woman in the room or even better joining in. So for me it has more to do with the naughtiness of it, that a woman is watching me do this really horny thing, I believe this is true for lots of men.men who I would say are straight. I think if you don't fancy men then your straight.

My sentiments exactly. I'd also add how arrogant and disrespectful is this thread. We will NEVER appeal to everybody: fact!
If I see a profile that states no blacks, no bbws I move on...I wouldn't dream of asking "why not"?

Some very interesting points of _iew in this topic.
Would like to say, that any couples/single that send us a message, where the profile states the guy is straight, when we are seeking BI couples, gets a refusal.
We are honest enough to state our prefernces, why can't others.
One interesting point is made, perhaps, Oral BI and full Bi, may help, personally I am an oral bi, so state Bi curious. I am not sure how that goes for the females preferences on profile
Anyway a great thread |

"Secondly its down to practising safe sex and our own safety. Don't get me wrong nothing is ever totally safe but when there are so many single men available why up the odds of problems. "
I think you're totally mistaken and thst is an uneducated and misinformed _iew.
As I live in what was once the HIV capital of Europe I can tell you the gay and drug-using communities became the safest as they had education along with free condom and needle exchange progerams. They pratised safe sex al lot more than all you astraighties who think you're all clean.
I heard recently about a straight guy who'd infected around 100 people with HIV on a swinger's site since 2005.
Almost every guy I've met I've had to remind about the condom. They would've gone bareback if I'd let them, yet when a thread on another forum asked about condoms every guy was definitley for them. BULLSHIT!
The mos at-risk group is still young straight people (they think their asses are bulletproof) and HIV is spreading there.
So in actual fact, by sticking with the straighties you're more at risk. Have fun! But get educated. |

"So the question is if being bi-sexual makes a man effeminate does being bi-sexual make a woman butch?"
Not at all, the fact that two feminine women are having sex together just makes it twice as feminine.
Whereas two men involved in acts that are usually enjoyed by a man and woman makes one, if not both of them appear effeminate.
Our reason for not meeting bi guys is simply that just the thought of two guys having sex together makes our toes curl.
No homophobia either, we have gay friends and get on well socially but that's all.
And yes we know there are many liars on the site which is why we block single guys.
Yes there are some genuine honest guys but to us its just not worth the bother sifting through them.

But by your very own rationale two men together would be more masculine. If two women together is more femine that is....... Unless of course oral sex or cunnilingus is usually NOT practiced by a man and a woman?
Sorry it's duplicity
But it is YOUR choice and I applaud that, welcome it and I am happy (for one) that you are exercising it |

It doesn't work like that though, the guy sucking the cock in some way takes on feminine characteristics as he does so.
He becomes almost subservient to the guy who's cock he's sucking.
Whereas a woman licking another woman cannot be seen as masculine because they retain their femininity during the act.
Women have always been tactile with each other, hugging, kissing etc, its treated as the norm.
Sex between to women seems a more natural progression of this.
Not so with men.
In fact Roman and Greek armies would sometimes have sex with their vanquished foe to emasculate them, to make them feel less manly.

Ok, strange world and all that but I had a ponder (oh no, not again!) and I have tried to rationalise why it is more acceptable for women to be bisexual than men. I have drawn two conclusions (with the help of a PM or two)
1. The proliferation of hardcore porn since the 60's and 70's to the present day has in the main, depicted bisexual acts between women. Bisexual acts between men were usually restricted to the "gay" community (sounds happy doesn't it?). Due to the length of time this media has been available in the mainstream, it is now _iewed as "acceptable", whereas bisexual man sex (gone a bit family guy) has only been delivered through the internet (a fairly recent media), meaning that at this time it is still "settling in" to societies subconscious
2. Women can only perform oral or masturbation (baring use of a toy which inherently dehumanises the act) on one another. There is no "penetration" other than by a third source (re strap on). Hence as oral is _iewed as a "softer" act in sexual play this is more "acceptable. One people fail to distinguish is that an awful lot of bisexual men, are only orally bisexual.
It seems a little odd that women are more likely to be accepted as bisexual, whereas bisexual men are just _iewed as closet homosexuals
Anyway..... |

I couldn't quote everything but firstly, culturally you are looking at this wrong. In Pakistan, men hug and kiss when they meet and will walk down the street together holding hands, you are looking at a western perception of things and not a global perception of things.
Secondly I don't think you have spoken to many bisexual men, in gay coupling, one man may take on a feminine role, however this is rare in bisexual encounters, unless of course transvestites are taking part. Like female bisexual encounters it's about mutual enjoyment of each others bodies, not "who gets to be the girly now"
As I have said, choice is a right, but the perception of bisexual men amongst many of the comments above is rather strange. In essence we are all closet gays......
Many of my lesbian friends have a butch and sissy relationship, but hats because they are gay and not isexual,if I applied your logic to bisexual women, I would be vilified |

I think most people realise that a lot of people will say or write on their profiles what they think people want to hear to get themselves a meet.
Reading this thread and threads on this subject before...there always seems to be people trying to " convince " others that they can play straight/ not dive on another man etc etc....but if people don't want to play with bi men, it means they don't want to, end of.
Saves me typing anymore, I refer you to Views post, as they are my _iews too. |

I (mrs new here btw) get a bit annoyed by the very obvious double standard on this one!!! It's almost a pre-requistite for the female to be bi in a swinging environment but as for the male? Oh dear me, let me see....that would be NO. we're turned down because J actually admits in a swinging environment he quite likes the "all play" bit, and yet ( as the OP says) we recieve mail from supposedly "straight" guys who have had "a few oral experiences" and are curious for more, but don't wish to put this on their status because it "puts some people off" !! Oh come on folks....Isn't it about time that we all realised that Bi is not a bad thing. I'm a Bi female (in the swinging world) I love a bit of girlie play, but in the vanilla world am not looking for a lesbian relationship! When are we all going to see that this is about PLAYING and sexual interaction, not everyday relationships, and realise that admitting our boys like to experiment too is not a bad thing........ and Jay, erm Yes I've had wine....lol |

I love bi men....Send them to me!!
I think it's hot as fuck watching 2 guys together lol.
I have met "straight" guys and when I mention I like bi men they are all of a sudden into sucking cock etc...
The guys who hide the fact their bi to get meets end up not getting meets from people who like bi men lol. Boys you can never win eh!! xxx |

"Of course it might just be that the women are worried you give better oral than they do!
Fear not.
Girls give better head than guys.
No they don't..."
I posted that thinking that there wouldn't be a single guy on here who would pop up and say he gives great head.
I forgot about you!
Let me rephrase my post.
In MY experience, I have had better head from girls than from guys and I prefer getting head from girls than guys.

i got about halfway through the posts....and then just had to comment! This age old question has baffled me for some time now. Anyone who has met me will tell you, that if you i hadnt told them i was bi...you wouldn't know. Out of respect and courtesy to other site users i put bi on my profile as i dont see any reason to mislead people. I am not looking to meet single males for fun currently but that doesn't mean i'm going to put straight on my profile in the hope of increasing my chances with single fems, or more likely, couples. Just because i am bi, does not mean i am going to be eyeing up your fellas tackle or try and suck him off before you can do anything about it...i don't like the term "playing straight" but had i put straight on my profile you really would never know. That said, i totally respect peoples choices, and for whatever reason they dont want to meet bi guys than i can respect that. On the plus side i have found a number of women on site who love two guys together....so it's all worked out for the best! |

"There are quite a few ladies who will not meet a guy who's profile states Bi.
Thoughts?
Jim"
This argument never makes any sense to me.
If someone is lying there is no way of knowing. That does not mean that people should play with those who tell the truth.... such a ridiculous premise.
Examples. Hi Granny, Im a pedophile.
Oh that's okay at least your honest about it. Let's get jiggy.
Oh hi Granny. I bludgeoned your dog to death.
Awwwwww never mind at least you are honest about it. Let's get jiggy.
??? Doesn't work does it.

"Leave people alone with their preferences. "
Doesn't work.
Because all the guys who claim to be straight are really bi and want to touch hubby up and all the guys who claim to be bi are really straight and are just saying they are bi to get to fuck wifey.
As for the 'curious' lot, they mostly interfere with farm animals.
Of course the people who should be avoided at all costs are the paranoid know-alls who think everyone is telling lies just so they get to have sex with them.

Thank heaven! I thought there was something wrong with me as I could not get worked up every time I saw some great big hairy arse at some swingers party! |

We always have the problem when looking to meet bi guys we always get messages from straight guys telling us the same thing but our profile is straight ( excuse the pun) to the point what we are seeking.
At the start we met with a guy who claimed he was bi but on his profile he was straight never the less we met with him and he was just interested in the pussy
At the end of the day just be honest with yourself and with others what your are ! |

Well, looks like this one could run and run. From some of the comments, it seems some people miss-understood my original post.
I believe, as many do, that everyones opinion should be respected. I was just curious to hear some of the possible reasons thats all. I certainly don't think women who won't meet bi guys have something against us, its just not for them.
I have absolutely nothing against skiing. And have no problem with people who do it. But I will never do it. Ever. I can't explain why, I just will not do it.
Daft reference, I know, but it shows that everyone is wired differently.
It would be a boring world if we were all the same, would'nt it? |
