I suspect that either your post wasn't acceptable ie against the rules or someone reported it or a row occurred on it |

There are topics that are offered up for discussion on numerous occasions... Timewasters,no replies and they are on occasion removed rather than have the same conversation running on different threads at the same time..
I think I read yours... And it was.

I know if a forum bun fight of words kick off the mods will remove it or close it off...and if the subject is started in the wrong thread they'll stick in the topic it should be in? |

Censorship! Happened to me last week too. There's some awfully sensitive people policing the forums is all I'm saying. |

are you sure the thread has not just been moved to a different forum ?
If you go to the initial forum page, there is a section on the left hand side titled "Your Posts" and underneath that it says "_iew recent threads you've posted to". Click on this and you will get a list of all the threads you've contributed to. If your thread is not there then - yup, it will have been removed for some reason. |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
I've never seen a post removed without good reason - sometimes I've felt the reason was a little borderline, but that reflects my lack of objectivity, not the behaviour of the remover.
Looking forward to the response of the mods to the allegation that OP is being deliberately edited out... |

censorship?? if a topic falls outside of the rules of a the forums it gets pulled, if people start slagging each other off posts get pulled
its about making the forums fun and welcoming, if there were no rules and no mods things would deteriorate fairly quickly |

"i put a post here few hours ago now i see it removed looked back for other posts i put on in the past but they seem to be missin too, can someone advise or is it a closed forum for friends only ????" its not a closed forum ....... everyone here is looked at the same by the mods .. thay just have rules .. and thay are not set by them but owners of fab site. Most of us here at some time had somthing taken off ... may not our post but what others have posted on there ... |

OP... Most of us have had threads pulled in the past. As others have said, it may be down to the subject being repetitive, out of the site rules (naming and shaming is the quickest way of getting a thread removed), abusive behaviour by yourself or others that have contributed on the thread (not essentially directed at the OP... an argument has broke out between two or more posters).
I'm going to stick up for the mods and say they are extremely fair... newbie or regular they stick to the rules.
As for feeling like newbies aren't welcome to post on the forums... read this...

A quick tip: if you want to track where you have posted you can press the green arrow next to your username... even if a thread you are looking for has been moved to another section. |

"OP... Most of us have had threads pulled in the past. Yes it happens and sometimes after the'where did that go?...' moment it does'nt hurt to reflect if 'we'the poster may have been a tad out of order / posted something without thinking how others will take said post

Agreed, they keep the site rolling along. Like a good referee so well done them

It's propbably because you haven't paid your forum protection fee... derrrr
Assuming you were not born in Sicily and are not connected or been made (we call made swingers mods around here), then you have to pay up.
I would advise you to take £500 from a standard UK monopoly set along with the Water Works card and get yourself to the back of the bike sheds double quick. |

There are lots of reasons why posts/ threads are removed and the rules will normally clarify why it has been removed.
The main reason threads/ posts have been removed lately are because it is dirty washing being aired or people are having a pop at other posters...it seems to a popular thing at the moment and one where double standards are applied when doing so.
Check out the rules before you post and there will be limited posts/ threads removed.

If you need Admin to check any post removal/ thread removal as you don't agree with it, then send your query from the CONTACT button at the bottom of the page, all posts/ threads can be _iewed by them wether they are removed or not. |
