...nights regularly hosted at clubs, yet we've never seen a 'slender n tender' event for those ladies and gents who appreciate a lack of padding on the bone.
Why do you think this is?
Why are BBW's treated as a 'niche market'?
Would people be offended if a club dedicated a specific evening to to, let's say for example, ladies who are size 10 and under?
Just a curiosity post as we see so many debates about body size/shape. |

As the host of the Buxom Babes event at my local club, I love the fact there are different events for different people - it means that throughout a month, there’s always something for everyone! Whether it’s bi-night, all male night, all female night, fet night, Buxom Babes, under 39’s, couples only, pure play events like RAW or more social events like pub night & Kinky Karaoke, the variety of events offers a night that caters for a whole host of different dynamics.
I love the name too - I think the more variety there is out there, both in number of clubs & types of events is only a good thing!! xx |

"...

Because we are a niche market
On a serious note the first event I went to was a BBW night I picked it because I thought I would be more comfortable than at a general swingers night, this was more because I didn't know to expect.
I am all for specialist nights that cater to people's tastes I think slender and tender would be great for the slender lovers |

That's excellent, if somewhat gratuitous advertising of your club, but doesn't answer any of the questions asked.
We also work in swingers club and hold similar events, yet as mentioned, we've never seen any club hold a specific event solely for slender women. |

She did answer your question. In the last paragraph, she said she loved the name (of what you were proposing) and greed that the more variety offered in clubs would be a good thing |

Exactly. Given we live in a country where 90% Ish of the population is white anyone who isn't white is a minority and thus potentially niche.
In a similar way, social convention is that slim women are attractive and non slim women are not. That's not a judgment as to whether that statement is objectively true, just a statement of fact. (plenty of slimming magazines and clubs, no "get larger" equivalents).
Hence men wanting to shag slim women is the social norm, men wanting to shag larger women is niche. |

It's something we're considering, hence asking for input on here about whether it would seen as something positive, or just perceived as yet another discriminatory event isolating certain body types |

Ohhh ok I get you, I personally think it's a good idea and not discriminatory at all

I depends what you want in terms of image. . Because slim people are the most sought after sexually, it won't be seen as something positive for skinnies but as something negative for fatties. . Essentially you are putting up a large sign saying "larger ladies not welcome".
Given that most women swingers do not fall into the slim category (only about 20% when I did a quick survey on here) I'd think about how it might effect your customer base. |

"...nights regularly hosted at clubs, yet we've never seen a 'slender n tender' event for those ladies and gents who appreciate a lack of padding on the bone.
Why do you think this is?
"
Because they don't call them that. Plenty of clubs / events have 'attractiveness standards' (e.g. killing kittens) and being larger size may count against being admitted. I don't know that for sure because we avoid such places.
"
Why are BBW's treated as a 'niche market'?
"
Because a lot more men prefer women with a body fat percentage under 40, than don't.
"
Would people be offended if a club dedicated a specific evening to to, let's say for example, ladies who are size 10 and under?
"
Wouldn't be offended but wouldn't go either. Swinging is pretty niche anyway so the more you sub-divide it then the more you end up with 20 people at an event / club and it's devoid of atmosphere.
"
Just a curiosity post as we see so many debates about body size/shape. "

OP I love a bbw event because I'm a larger lady and I know I will feel comfortable in the company of other larger ladies and those who find us attractive.
I think a slender event is a great idea. There are always people on the forums who are looking for slimmer people and complain that they struggle to find them.
Give it a go at your club and see how it goes, if it isn't well supported then don't do another one.
One thing I would advise though is to make it inclusive even if you are targeting slimmer people. Most clubs who host bbw events don't exclude those who are slim. They welcome everyone to the event but say they must be aware that it is aimed at bbws and admirers so if they aren't comfortable with this then please don't attend. |

"We need a geeky and socially inept white male of average endowment fan club
Any takers ladies? "
No, because nobody likes us mate
OP, if the club thinks they can get a decent crowd in and cover their costs then go for it. From my poll of walking around a bit, I think women who are size 10 or below are probably a minority too. |

That seems contradictory. If as you say, most swingers do NOT fall into the slim category, then surely slim women are greater niche in the market than BBW?

A quick survey of the first fifty women to the come up as near us reveals the following
Curvy 26%
Ample 18%
Average 14%
Athletic 14%
Large 12%
Slim 10%
Fabulous 6%
If we assume these figures are representative and the slim and athletic are your target for slender night, you would be risking alienating three quarters of your market.
And, no its not the same as BBW night. I am not aware of any slim people who aspire to be overweight and so won't feel insulted by being excluded from a BBW event. Many overweight people aspire to be slim and will feel insulted by being excluded from slender night.

No because far more men prefer slender women to overweight women. . Hence if all women are admitted, slender women will have first dabs.
If it's BBW night, overweight women are assured there are men there specifically attracted to their body shape, which probably makes for a better experience for them. |

Going by your stats then, 62% are not slim.. That leaves 38% of the market. Now, rightly or wrongly, a lot of slim people don't like to meet large people.. Have a browse through profiles and see for yourself... just as a lot of large people prefer to meet people of a similar body type.
I'm not saying we hold a "majestic anorexic" night, but the way our inbox is filling up, it's looking to be a popular choice to hold a slender n tender event. |

I make it 24% (slim plus athletic)
There is a market for what one might loosely called "beautiful people" nights, which would insist on women being slim, people have mentioned killing kittens for example.
However you have to know your market. I don't know your club, but if must of your clientele is average to overweight that probably means (a) you won't get many slender people turning up and (b) you risk alienating your existing customer base who will probably see such a night ad excluding and snobby.
Also bare in mind, that most slender women won't want to fuck fat men, so you will need to be equally exclusionary re men, which may raise even more problems... |

It’s not exactly a ‘niche’ market, just more of a night for size conscious people to play comfortably.
Lou’s bigger than me, always has been. I have no major issues with size, as I fell in love with the person and not the shape. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people may have the perfect body/looks but if their attitude stinks, they’re just plain ugly to me.
If I were to have a business/club in this field, narrowing my target market would just be suicide. Surely accommodating the masses is the way forward. Why try and play God and make people’s minds up for them? Let the people decide.

I didn't include 'average' purposefully as that's a bit to generic.
I understand your points but my rebuttal would be that by the same token, there are guys that won't fuck large women. There are also plenty of petite women that like the large, muscular type guys or those of a bigger build. We find a lot of women of any body type don't like the slim, smooth body type on men.
Of course, it's all horse for courses, and at the end of the day, it's nothing ventured nothing gained. The club is paid for regardless, and as with all new ideas and ventures, if we couldn't afford to take a loss on a night then there's something fundamentally wrong with the way its run lol.

Survey of fifty men..
Possibly some wishful thinking going on, but from pics not that much
Athletic. 52%
Average 38%
Curvy 4%
Large 4%
Slim 2%
So we have 54% slim/athletic men to 24% women in those categories.

Ok I'll be serious... honestly as a "fabulous" lady who attends the club, I wouldn't be offended if you decided to have a slender and tender night, the same as I am not offended when you have a gang bang night.
Both of those events are not for me, one because I don't fit the demographic and two because it's not for me.
The club runs plenty of events that I can attend should I choose to.
If I want to set something up that is specifically for me then I arrange my own meet/party at home
We can't expect a club to put on events that are catered to our individual tastes everytime as we are all different

"Survey of fifty men..
Possibly some wishful thinking going on, but from pics not that much
Athletic. 52%

So we have 54% slim/athletic men to 24% women in those categories.

I think it's relevant. Call it free market research
And the couples
The men in couples

"Ok I'll be serious... honestly as a "fabulous" lady who attends the club, I wouldn't be offended if you decided to have a slender and tender night, the same as I am not offended when you have a gang bang night.
Both of those events are not for me, one because I don't fit the demographic and two because it's not for me.

The difference is that larger women and women who like gangbangs need specific nights because most men, other things being equal, prefer one on ones with slim women.
Hence slim women who want to fuck men don't need a special night. The only market for "slender" nights is for people who want events only for conventionally attractive people i.e. the young, slim and good looking and to thus exclude the overweight, old and ugly.
The equivalent to a BBW night, in other words an advertised slender theme, but no specific exclusions just wouldn't work. . The non slender women wouldn't turn up, whilst loads of blokes, slender and non slender, would turn up hoping to fuck a slim woman. Said slim women, who turned up hoping to meet slender men who thus be put off and stop coming.
As far as I can see, if you are going down the exclusive killing kittens route, you have to dedicate yourself to that. One off "slender" nights won't work.

I would disagree with that in practical experience .. as a larger woman (probably classified as an ssbbw) I have had interest and play at generic swinging events and parties.
I don't feel like I need a specific night and I am definitely not one of the conventionally beautiful people.
Some like me some don't if I play great if I don't I love the banter anyway and love to watch |

All single women will get action in the swinging world because there so few women in comparison to men (about 17 to 1 male to female on here). However some larger women don't like the idea that men prefer slim women to them. (there was a whole thread yesterday about how some larger women won't meet men who see slim women because they feel self conscious etc ). . Hence some larger women prefer BBW nights as they can be assured that the men there are specifically attracted to their body shape.
That might not apply to you, but it does to many. |

Not at all, I genuinely feel people need to lighten up on the sizing. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, so I'm giving mine. There are too many near anorexic models shown clearly to be a "sex icon" to promote "skinny minnie" as one has stated, just aids in further straying from what beauty really is or should be. Think what you want my opinion stands. |

There are certainly some for whom any hole is a goal ...but surely there has to be some attraction to the body they are playing with to physically maintain an erection and yes I know the blue pills help but if you're not attracted then even they don't!
By your rationale that many larger women feel more comfortable at a specialist event then surely that would be the case for many slender women?
Whilst they maybe seen as conventionally attractive, I know many slender women who have just as many body issues as I do as a large women ... They don't like their small breasts or feel they appear too boyish.
I am in no way saying that BBW specialist events are not fun, or more comfortable for many women, or that as a BBW I am not a niche, I am very aware that they are and that I am.
What I am advocating is that this is surely the same for many size 0 - 10 women who many look at and call anorexic or not womanly, there is a thread in this forum that is called skinnie Minnie's or womanly curves .. automatically implying if you are skinny you're not womanly.
Body shaming regardless of the reason why is not acceptable.
If these women want an event that makes them feel more comfortable why should I who has been afforded the same privilege by the same club be offended by that?

"As the host of the Buxom Babes event at my local club, I love the fact there are different events for different people - it means that throughout a month, there’s always something for everyone! Whether it’s bi-night, all male night, all female night, fet night, Buxom Babes, under 39’s, couples only, pure play events like RAW or more social events like pub night & Kinky Karaoke, the variety of events offers a night that caters for a whole host of different dynamics.
I love the name too - I think the more variety there is out there, both in number of clubs & types of events is only a good thing!! xx
That's excellent, if somewhat gratuitous advertising of your club, but doesn't answer any of the questions asked.
We also work in swingers club and hold similar events, yet as mentioned, we've never seen any club hold a specific event solely for slender women.
If you work in a club why don't you host your own slender night?
It's something we're considering, hence asking for input on here about whether it would seen as something positive, or just perceived as yet another discriminatory event isolating certain body types
Ohhh ok I get you, I personally think it's a good idea and not discriminatory at all
But just be aware there will be people who take offence, same like there are white guys who cry on the forum because there is no wmfc lol
"
Good point on the WMFC. Obviously parties like BFMC are there for women (and to a lesser extent couples) who want to play with black guys, and who can blame them? Their cum is very yummy after all. However, there isn't an equivalent scene for white men. There are normal club nights. But women and couples who attend probably aren't looking specifically for white single men. Just an observation. |

The short answer. Is that, on the whole and allowing for individual exceptions, the following statements seem to me self evidently true
1. Overweight women have far more body issues than non overweight women. That's because there is general societal disapproval of overweight women.
2. Most men prefer to have sex with slim women than overweight women. That's not to say they don't fancy overweight women, just they fancy slim women more.
Those are the two main reasons as to why BBW nights work and why there are no slender nights, other than the beautiful people killing kittens type. |

I’m a bigger girl but don’t attend BBW events firstly as I don’t identify as that label nor do I wish someone to be interested in me just because of my size. I’m so much more and just go to clubs as and when I want, rarely bothering with niche focus events except for kink ones.
Despite that I wouldn’t be offended in the slightest and think it’d be good for those who do want to find ladies on the slender side
I’m surprised no ones requested a big boy club yet |

Going back to the OP, I’ve been saying this for years. Enjoying a body such as mine is your taste, not a niche. Only in extremes does it become a fetish (where a partner becomes a feeder as it is the fat that they fetishise in the first instance, not the person).
That said, to match up larger ladies and men with those that are attracted to that body type makes sense. I would freaking love a mesomorph male event. Or a petite and lithe female event. Those would match my tastes and yet there’s nothing catering to them.
Then again, if you do that, where do you stop? There’s only so many nights in the week. In my opinion then, knowing you can’t cater to everyone, it seems fairer to just have mixed nights where all body types are welcome.
Just my two pennorth! |

I think sometimes those of a larger persuasion need a bit of a confidence boost.
If it's a night specritically for larger ladies then you know there will be people there that like that.
I went to a "normal" club night and felt awful as the people there could all have been models! The slimmer and the few larger were all stunning. I didn't see how I could be attractive and my confidence went completely. |

Interesting question. I suppose it's the pic of the female face on the pic and the offence taken by my comments insofar as they relate to the non slim. The style seems female also.
I could be wrong of course. |

"...nights regularly hosted at clubs, yet we've never seen a 'slender n tender' event for those ladies and gents who appreciate a lack of padding on the bone.
Why do you think this is?
Why are BBW's treated as a 'niche market'?
Would people be offended if a club dedicated a specific evening to to, let's say for example, ladies who are size 10 and under?
Just a curiosity post as we see so many debates about body size/shape. "
I think because the view of the 'norm' at clubs is that they are for slim and slender people.
At least that's the feeling I get when I speak to people about the bbw events at chams that I run.
There is nothing to say that events like that can't be run, just that no one has because, in my opinion, no one feels the need to.
I will say though that my events are on nights that are still. Open to the general membership and so not exclusively bbw. I've had women who were a size 10 on my guest list because they had friends going. The nights at chams are simply about making an environment where bigger women feel more confident knowing that most of the guys going are looking for bigger women to play with and so they won't be left on the sidelines |

I don't understand all the debating about fat girl night Slim girl nights events etc etc...here in the north east especially club f is just 90% very fat woman attending the club and the same percentage on fab from north east...you'd be lucky to find enough people to go....you also got to remember most the woman ie the 90% big fat ugly ones wouldn't stand a chance of meeting a guy in a bar or anywhere else so you'd be creating carnage turning them away at a swinging club door

They would though, being less attractive doesn't stop you getting sex, it just means the sex you get is likely to be with a person of comparable attractiveness. If Jeremy Kyle has taught me anything it's that having no teeth, job or dignity doesn't prevent you from getting laid. |

Roughly about a quarter of single women on here are slim or athletic and about half Curvy/large/BBQ or whatever you want to call it. See my survey above

But if you ban Gregg's how will I get my sausage roll fix? A Girl's gotta keep her strength up for all this fucking!
Please .. the original point of the thread was actually the provision of a specialist event for the more slimmer body type, not intending to bash bigger ladies, in fact for the most part people have been very receptive to the idea and they are both bigger and slimmer people.
No bigger people have come on and said you can't do that I'd be excluded! People have expressed opinions that they don't feel it will work because there are many events where slender women already feel desired and generally been adult about it until now!
But anyhow ... I must take my own advice and not feed the trolls |

"I agree with you...just a shame this site and the clubs are just full of over weight ladies....the more worrying thing is the younger ladies are tending to be very large....ban Gregg's"
Fucking Greggs has a lot to answer for
Really??? I for one couldn’t give a flying monkey what size the person is. If there’s a connection who cares. I wouldn’t classify a person by their body shape, I’m sure Myra Hindley was thinnish, but saying that Rose West was a larger lady. Good old Hitler was a thin chap, but young Kim is a little rotund.
Anyways, back to the theme, I haven’t had the fun of going to a club yet, but I think it’s quite a good idea having a themed night like this. Personally I would go to a BBW night, as on a personal level the ‘BBW’s’ I have been with we’re actually more fun in the sack, than the thinner girls....but maybe just maybe, that has nothing to do with size |

"you also got to remember most the woman ie the 90% big fat ugly ones wouldn't stand a chance of meeting a guy in a bar or anywhere else
They would though, being less attractive doesn't stop you getting sex, it just means the sex you get is likely to be with a person of comparable attractiveness. If Jeremy Kyle has taught me anything it's that having no teeth, job or dignity doesn't prevent you from getting laid.
Oh wow we descended into more body shaming ... Can we not keep things a little more civilized?
Everyone isn't for everyone there is no need to be insulting
And no .. I'm not offended or butt hurt nor do I need to cry/lie down in a dark room until I realise that as a fat ugly lady I can't pull unless I'm swinging so therefore open to anyone to fuck
Body shaming isn't a real thing unless you think a totally shamless society is desirable.
That doesn't follow at all. You can think making someone ashamed of their body is a good thing, but you're still shaming about their body. "
All i said is that having no teeth is not a good look. If someone doesn't feel shame for not looking after their teeth then that hardly entitles them to act like a victim of something. |

"Not at all, I genuinely feel people need to lighten up on the sizing. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, so I'm giving mine. There are too many near anorexic models shown clearly to be a "sex icon" to promote "skinny minnie" as one has stated, just aids in further straying from what beauty really is or should be. Think what you want my opinion stands.
Why do you think the larger figure constitutes "real" beauty? "
There can be beauty in all sizes, surely? |

A. Move up to the north east
B. Go to Greggs

You seem to think that if you are shaming someone that is necessarily a bad thing. Not the. Case.
If I hang around outside schools flashing to children and you call me a disgusting pervert, you are shaming me for my behaviour. Quite validly most people would think.
If someone eats lots of cakes, never does any exercise and is thus twenty stone and you say their weight makes them unattractive, you are also shaming them. There's debate as to whether shaming of that mature is a good thing. |

Without being paranoid I'm guessing that was aimed at me
I don't have to accept your opinion as it is just that an opinion and it is yours not mine.
I don't have to walk away the point of a forum is a discussion, not to tell people who disagree with you to walk away.
I actually tried to bring the discussion back to the original point of the post.
And as to wether I am happy or not with my weight or wether or not I am healthy .. I have never said I am unhappy or happy, I stated in an earlier post that I had some body issues as do 99.9% of women regardless of their size
So your advice whilst heard was unasked for and not required |

I think most females of “average” size will be comfortable in most club meets. However, some bbw’s such as myself, would only attend if they know all the ladies will be of similar size and that the men there are admirers of such body types. I would feel extremely exposed and self conscious in a regular club night constantly wondering who was taking the Micky out of me for being there |

Well yes, so body shaming is a real concept. You just happen not to agree with it.
Accurate terminology is important. it's a curious thing that you most often get on the right of the political spectrum to deny the existence of something with which they disagree.
If someone says something to an overweight woman she doesn't like, some may call it body shaming and some may call it valid criticism. Both terms exist as and only as abstract concepts. Neither exists in the same way that trees and ducked billed platypusses exist. |

Do you have a problem with ts/tg or BBC etc events also? |

I don't think the OP has an issue with any event, they were asking about creating a new event and if people thought it would work |

Niche events that don't exclude anyone are great.
Those who are perceived to be attractive to the majority in society don't need a niche event.
Unless of course they're trying to exclude perceived less attractive traits like some of the elite type swingers events do that are just for the pretty people. |

MT here.
Now to the original OP. I think any event that caters for different wants and needs is a good idea. Everyones preferences aew different and for me that is not an issue.
The whole idea surely is to encourage and support people to come into a lifestyle that we love. If having speciallist events help this happen they are good in my mind.
Secondly what i have seen on this thread is alit of negativity about different groups of people and being justified with that great term "its my opinion" now for my opinions are like arseholes. Everyone has them and alot of the time they are full of crap.
Thirdly how about a big cuddly tattoed bearded bear and admiriers event pmsl

Killing Kittens and City Slickers both seem to do well catering for slim traditionally beautiful people so definitely worth organising your own event OP.
Personally as a big girl i steer away from the BBW events and label... i just find it patronising and a bit cringey.
Im more than comfortable at clubs catering for all shapes and sizes.
Takes all sorts to make a happy swinging scene. |

There's prime examples on the forums of why BBW nights work
This thread as promoted generalisations about both slender and bigger women, with only one real exception I can see it only been bigger women themselves defending the generalisation of fat oeople, where's as slender generalisations have been defended left and right
There is one BBW thread on fab that very rarely attracts any kind of animosity and while its repetitive nature annoys some BBW&M Chat threads are just left to it and they're relatively chilled back threads and in my opinion one of the nicer places to be on the forums because they don't attract Amy body shaming shite you see elsewhere, and that in a nutshell is why BBW nights work its place big ladies can go where they won't catch any shit for their size and for the less confident bigger girls out there they need it to feel safe to enjoy exploring their sexuality/enjoying their sex life.
Generalisations and vile comments to fat women are generally accepted as fine and you only see them defended mostly by larger women themselves whereas any generalisations made to slender women are defended from all angles, that's been clearly evident on this thread. I can't name names but there's one slim woman in particular that hones in an negative comments to slim women telling them how 'wrong'they are for doing it while seemingly ignoring any made to bigger ladies because to her that's clearly OK
These nights are about fat women not catching shit its as simple as that |

Is it me or does 'Slender and Tender' make you think of Spare ribs?? Or even a spear of Asparagus.
Maybe that's just how my fat brain operates...Foood!
I think 'Lean and Keen' would be a better name. Because a lot of the slimmer women I'm friends with (yes fatties do have slim friends) are certainly not tender (in a physical sense, not personality wise).
I personally think all club nights should be aimed at Greedy Girls of all sizes! Something for everyone...aslong as you're greedy!

"All I’m stating is that I’m not slim and have been accepted so saying it’s only for ‘slim’ people is not correct. "
What you said is correct. To be a member you need to meet their subjective standards of what is attractive. Few people would say that being large automatically makes you unattractive, the same weight would look very different on different bone structures. Obviously they deemed your overall package to be attractive. |

These nights are about fat women not catching shit its as simple as that "
Exactly. Larger women catch far more shit than slender women, hence BBW nights work and slender nights wouldn't. |

"All I’m stating is that I’m not slim and have been accepted so saying it’s only for ‘slim’ people is not correct.
What you said is correct. To be a member you need to meet their subjective standards of what is attractive. Few people would say that being large automatically makes you unattractive, the same weight would look very different on different bone structures. Obviously they deemed your overall package to be attractive. "
My completely unscientific theory is that if you are over size ten a woman will only be considered attractive in such places if her boobs stick out more than her stomach. |

Google: Nia Jax - that's my idea of a hot, larger woman. |
