Just wondering what people’s biggest turn offs are in messages/profiles etc. And also the other way as well. What piques your interest in someone?

My biggest turn off is a very blunt message or just sending a friend request without a message at all

From my experience I’ve found the random friend requests are just pic collectors. Don’t know why they even bother lol.

People saying "mmmmmm", because they can't think of anything more profound. It's also a good indication that they're beginning to lose interest.

Once I read that I tend to switch off.

Is that just of those phrases are sent on there own? because in the right message I can see them being used quite well.

Mmmmmmmm is creepy as fuck no matter who is saying it whether in a message or an open forum post. Always makes me think of dirty old men and sex starved housewives

Profiles...

Username that makes us go

No profile text/fill in later.

Rubbish pics/no pics.

Messages...

One word messages.

Crude or presumptuous messages.

Messages from folks who've clearly not read our profile.

Those are the things we dislike and the things we like are the opposite of the above lists...Fabs ain't rocket science.

There and to the left a bit

Things that interest me in a message or profile are where it's obvious and clear the person has put some thought and effort into them both with the text and any pics etc. - if you want to engage me, then engage me

Things that tend to put me off in profiles are short, uninspiring ones that don't sell the person well and just scream me, me, me. Or overly graphic pics that leave not a lot to the imagination. Similarly with messages, any from people I don't know, that are over the top sexual, or just short one liners that don't bear any relation to anything (e.g. a forum post) do nothing for me and are usually on a one way trip to my delete button.

Just really low resolution, bad lighting, full frontal post-fuck vagina pictures.

And dick pics with a loo in the background. Just why.
