Time wasters!

There should be a way in which you can let everyone know the people your chatting to could be time wasters.

I was chatting to a couple last night exchanged pics and arrange to meet. They sent me there address and I drove all the way to only find when outside the door they wanted to cancel.

Takes the piss. I see loads of people meaning about single guys wasting time but everyone does it!

Do you think maybe they looked through the window and didn't fancy you?

Maybe you don’t look like your pics and they think you are a time waster.

And that’s why a system wouldn’t work. Too many variables.

Arranging to meet so quickly after first contact is always high risk. Particularly if you've not spoken to them

I’m playing devils advocate by the way because it’s not nice, but I don’t see s system working because some people would make stuff up.

Agreed. Although I have got lucky with "come on over" scenarios.

Only fools rush in. Couldn’t agree more on the social meet first aspect. What if you did go in their house, only to find you didn’t actually like them? You may have ended up being the time waster. Always best to build rapport first, then arrange a social over a beer/coffee, see if you all click and then arrange a play date. The journey can be as much fun as the destination. We may be old fashioned and boring to some but we don’t care, it’s how we roll. Good luck for the future anyhow.

Social meets always and that way if your all honest with each, its your opportunity to say "thanks but not for me" or "shall we meet again" etc etc etc
