First music I liked was classical music and prefer to this day but I've actually recently had my testosterone levels checked and it's normal....I must be the exception to the rule! |

I enjoy all music and classical is up with my favourites. Opera music moves me emotionally and classical relaxes me!
Can’t beat shagging to the Prodigy though!
Smack me bitch up lol |

Find a quiet moment and sit, close your eyes and listen to The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams. If you're not moved or can't imagine yourself in your "special place", you've got no soul! |

"No, can't stand it. It bores me. "
It’s great how we’re all different musical tastes- wise.
Bands bore me more and more. Everything is at roughly the same volume, the speed of a song rarely changes and there’s far less variety in the instruments used.
I’ve been to many hundreds of gigs and still enjoy them. However, I here people say “Band X,Y,Z rocked”. These days, I find an orchestra and choir playing the Verdi Reqiuem “rocks” more and is way more powerful sonically than any band.
I also played in a concert recently and a young, brilliant cello player played the Elgar concerto - I felt like I was knocked over by the power this slight women got out of her unamplified instrument (steady!). Plus the emotion too -I haven’t felt that power from a guitar whacked up to 11 in years.
That’s purely my taste of course - not trying to convert anything.

Love it. Makes my long commute to work a lot less stressful.
To those who don't like it you should try going to a local hall and try watching a movie played with the full orchestra! One near me does movies and the blue planet with the full orchestra and it's amazing. Been to a few. Also wonder how many films have classical music in them? Bet it's most of them and you don't realise while watching them. Films would be completely different without it. |

Some I adore, some I am less keen on, folk that say they hate it admit to loving the scene from Shawshank Redemption, where Andy locks himself in governors office...without the Sull Aria it would not have been the same scene, a lot of folk now love the Flower Duet coutersy of BA |

"First music I liked was classical music and prefer to this day but I've actually recently had my testosterone levels checked and it's normal....I must be the exception to the rule! " It's hardly a rule - in the annals of shit science this survey will be right at the top, just under the chapter heading for 'correlation is not causation, you publicity craving absolute fuckwits' |
