Just wondering what people generally think of body modifications.
Everything ranging from just small tattoos and ear piercings to more extreme stuff like tongue splitting.
Really interested to hear people's thoughts and body mods that others have!

Personally I have both my ears stretched to 20mm (pictured at 16mm on my profile) and a small tattoo on my wrist I gave myself.
I'm looking to getting some bigger tattoos soon but I'm saving up to get them done well.

Personally, OP, I like earrings. I have quite a few myself (more than 10). And I have one hole in my ear stretched (though, not by much. It's not really noticeable anymore because I only put slightly thicker earrings in that hole anyway). But beyond liking a lot of earrings, I'm not really into body modifications. It's not really my thing. |

Yeah I think a lot of people are the same to be honest, ear rings are quite normal so most people don't even register it when they see someone with them. |

I have several tattoos and in the past I have had a few places pierced. I like tattoos on a woman, but not keen on all, such as a woman I met a few years back with her ex's name inked on her breast! That was a bit off putting 
I like piercings on a woman, too, but not anything more extreme than that. |

I've got a few tattoos now, small one on my neck, small one on my back, large one on my ribs and large one on my arm. Ears, lip and belly button pierced. Suspect I'll have more tattoos yet.
Hubby has no tattoos or piercings. I had only my ears pierced when we met.
Don't really worry too much about what others have. Though the ball bearings sound interesting!

It all depends what you class as body mods we are both covered in ink and one day hope to be covered top to toe,also have the usual piercings various ones in ears nose lip and nipples yes to get genitals done but deffo on wish list

To be honest I class anything you do to change your body artificially as a body mod. So tattoos and piercings come into thar definitely. It's just a big blanket term really |

I'd like some easy way of body painting. I love tats but I'm way too fickle to make a lifelong commitment to any one piece of art

Yeah to be honest I'm surprised there isn't a widely available, good quality temporary tattoo service available. You'd think there'd be quite a demand for something like that.

Yeah i definitely agree there, the whole itself can look really bad. I always keep plugs or tunnels in my ears for that reason.
I also have a skin colour pair to wear at college because they don't allow them haha. |

Yeah haha, oh well I'm almost done at college anyway and Unis don't really mind, should be going Uni of Nottingham next year for straight Psychology. Be able to wear whichever plugs I like all the time haha |

I used to be very active with a site called bme (add .com) and travelled the world with it.
I was even at the inaugural Pain Olympics with them, tongue splitting is almost considered mild. The techniques for doing it have come on leaps and bounds too, as have sub-dermals, divers, and more.
I think for lots of people its a sense of expression, and taking ownership of their body. If it makes you more comfortable and happier then rock on. |

I have 4 tattoos and a few piercings. They were done because I wanted them.
I have had complaints and opinions given about them but I'm open about having them so don't meet me if it's an issue.
I have no feeling in my nipples without the piercings and got my genital piercing as I don't orgasm to help with sensitivity. |

I'm incredibly pro body mods, especially if they're well placed, well maintained and well thought out.
I love that it's become more widely acceptable but hate that because of that, there are too many places jumping on the bandwagon willing to do a bad job. |

I like most of bit but can't say I'm keen on the more extreme stuff like tongue splitting and implants under the skin.
I have had many piercings over the years, but have only kept my 5mm stretchers in both ears, nose ring and nipple bar.
Her has had her fair share too but has only kept her Tragus and Rook piercings in. She has quite a few tattoos too. |

I have a prince albert piercing which some people love and others hate. It always sparks a conversation when i'm on the nudist beach and the first comment is usually about the pain when getting it done. (It actually didn't hurt that much).
I don't have any other piercings.
I love to see nipple piercings on women, think they look very erotic, likewise clit hood and labia ones.
I think it's a very personal thing which everyone shoukd be able ti do without anyone making a judgement but, unfortunately, people do. I know a young couple who use a local pub who both have facial tattoos and piercings. They look very extreme and you often hear people whispering quite derogatory comments about them. However, they are two of the nicest people you could ever meet, always polite, very well educated and well spoken. Pity some people don't take the time to get to know people before judging them but I guess that's just the society we live in

It is awful how much of a stigma there is against it, like I really want a face and hand tattoos but I'd never get them done unless I knew I wouldn't have to work again for the rest of my life haha. It's really difficult to find places who'll hire you if you have any body mods that are obvious for people to see |

I have tattoos, and a navel piercing.
Used to have my eyebrow, nose and nipple done but took them out years ago.
Tattoos and piercings don't bother me, but got to be honest things like sub dermal implants, tongue splitting, branding etc is too extreme for me.
I'd gladly socialise, but unlikely to go further. |

I recently had my nipples pierced. They were always really sensitive but now I can orgasm just from having them touched. It's pretty epic. Got a couple of tiny quite cliché tattoos. I want my ears pierced a couple more times, my nose pierced and a hood piercing. Plus a full body tattoo.

Needless to say - I love it.
I have 70 piercings and counting.
I am classed as old school as I just have regular piercings, no stretches, dermals or anything else but as I have so many I get a lot of compliments.
I totally love more extreme body modifications - large tattoos, stretches, tongue splits, the lot, although I draw the line at anything that seriously disfigures anyone's face.
I wish there were more people into it. Would be great to have a meet with a fellow heavily modified girl/t-girl. |

I have dermal chest piercings x 3 as well as standard belly and ear piercings and I love them. I’m also heavily tattooed and I love tattooed men, however personally ear stetchers and anything more extreme isn’t for me x
