Strange encounter?

So had a couple on our friends list messaged them saying we were interested in a social (few drinks and chat) sent face pics plus they could see all our other pictures they message asking what’s the event? So we put nothing just drinks chat and see where it goes then they ask for more pictures. Starting to think it’s dodgy declined to send more then they message “well good luck”? Anyone else think this is suspicious they have only been on site for 2 days?

I'd find it dodgy. Sounds like pic collectors. Trust your gut.

Sounds like it's possibly a guy posing as a couple. Can't help wondering why they were in your friend list if you hadn't spoken to them. We never friend anyone until we have arranged a meet with them. Also learnt the hard way like you not to send pics. Trust no one.

Well dodgy. Single bloke, photo collector?

We suffered this on another site, not good.

If they are new to the site the term "a social" may not have been clear to them. Before I joined here a social would have meant an event of some kind, a dance or a party. Also being so new to the site they may not be quite ready to meet yet.

Totally this!

This isn't Facebook. If you have pics in your 'friends only' folder why would you accept any old friend request?

You may as well make all your pics public.

Pic collectors.

I had a message the other day.

"What happened to those pics you were going to send me?"

"Eh?"

"The pics, they didn't arrive."

Another pic collector.

I don't share pics and I don't keep a private reserve for sharing.

I just ignored him after that.

Presumably, a percentage of people respond the way he wants them to.

Unless you're an MP or something, I can't imagine any harm coming from it lololol

I've done it myself and learned.

We just have public pictures so being a friend wouldn't benefit a pic hunter. We also never send face pics.

We normally only accept friend requests from those we've met and from those we have a good gut feeling about.
