I mean no disrespect by this dont you find it strange that on some profiles it says wont meet smokers so you look at public photos and guess what you find a photo of one of them with a ciggerette in there hand bit strange dont ya think ?? |

I've met non smokers (according to their profile) who don't smell of smoke, but when we got close and personal I could smell it on their breath or taste it.
We should all be free to make our own choices without fear of criticism, just be honest when arranging meets xx |

You're used to the smell. It's there day in, day out for you. Your home, your clothes, your car. Everywhere.
Have you seen the Fabreeze advert about being "nose blind"? Someone's home stinks of underwear, McDonald's and a dog (something like that), but they can't smell it because they're used to it. It's the same with smoking. You've gone "nose blind" to the smell of it. None smokers, however, can pick up on it straight away even if you think you've disguised the odour.

Smokers are the least of our worries when it comes to smelly breath!
We met a a couple who were on some fad diet.. Christ almighty knows what they were eating to lose weight but they had breath that'd strip the gun metal grey paint off a type 42 destroyer!

The receptors in the nose adapt very quickly to the same stimulus so can no longer detect it so smokers think they don’t smell of smoke . It’s the same with dog and cat owners thinking their houses don’t have that animal smell or people who don’t wash enough thinkers no they don’t have body odour. It’s basic physiology . |
