At the end of the day, there’s being honest, and then there’s being rude. What is the need for anyone to be slagging off people they have or haven’t spoken to about their body images? Do people not realise we already live in a society that pressurises people into looking “perfect”. At the end of the day, what someone doesn’t find attractive, someone else will and posting about the way people look in forums is just plain wrong regardless of them being male or female. |

Instead of trying to knock the Op down, let us first of all find out why he made the comment.
Op, why did you come to your conclusion? Did you come across a lady who just started insulting you? What happened? I do not agree you were rude , you have experienced something that has made you come to this conclusion , now tell us what you experienced. |

I don’t believe he was being rude. The post was actually pretty tactful. He didn’t say she had a face like the back end of a rhino. The whole point of a forum is for discussions on various topics. If the op wanted to get that off his chest who is anyone to judge him on that. |

Came back to see the "expected" comments, mostly from the afore mentioned 'let downs'
1) those saying I'm no oil painting...
You've no fucking clue what I look like.
2) I might be rude, but at least I'm honest.
3) men...word of advice, jumping to the defence of womenkind will not get you a fuck, just make you look like that bloke in a nightclub that nods along with everything then goes home alone.

*Everyone* here has been attracted to a profile only to realise that it's not so great once they've looked at all the pictures and/or read the text. So what, there's no personal conspiracy going on and someone else might feel differently about them. It's just one of those things which merits, at most, a nano-second of disappointment. You just move on. Feeling compelled to describe this everyday occurrence as 'such a let down', never mind being rude about what basically boils down to individual attraction kind of suggests you're putting waaayyy too much emotional investment into the whole process
