I used to do a lot of housesitting and a friend of the family asked me once if I went through peoples' drawers (wooden not clothes) while they were away!
I must have looked baffled because it had never previously occured to me, but now, when I stay away, it makes me smile when I think of it!
And no, I still don't want to know what they have in their drawers!
I might find something that shocks me!

When we first got married we lived in a flat conversion. The man above us would go and visit his family in Ireland every six weeks or so and asked my husband and I if we'd feed his cat and empty the litter tray.
Peter left the cat food and her bowls in the kitchen and the litter tray was in the bathroom. We'd feed the cat, wash out the bowl every day and empty the litter tray.
After one visit home he came to see us for his keys and asked us if we'd seen the mess the pigeon had made in his bedroom. My ex and I looked blank, as we only went into the kichen and bathroom, they were next to each other, there was no need for us to go any further.
Apparently he left the window open assuming we'd close it. He was really surprised when we said we only went into the kitchen and bathroom, that we'd never gone into any of his rooms.
We refused to feed his cats after that, as we felt offended. It never crossed our minds to snoop, he'd trusted us, but he thought we would - and expected us too...don't know why but it put us off him! |

Well folks just to settle it, I NEVER looked as I agreed with the trust bit and it was only a naughty thought and I was only wondering what others though. Nothing more n her bedroom door remained closed for 2 weeks n always will be, some places you just don't go. |
