One of the mains powered wands available is a good go-to as you can usually find a few attachments. They're quite powerful but ours rarely gets used due to the size and short cable.

Personally, I choose toys as much for their color as any other criteria. It could be the most amazing shape, size and variety of speed settings but if it was blue with yellow stripes it just wouldn't do it for me.However, a plain, otherwise boring, vibe in sparkly pink or purple is going to hit the spot everytime.
Make sure that whatever you get her is in her favorite color. |

Many, many choices. Also depends what you mean by 'mutual fun'.
You should, hopefully, know if she prefers clit stim, or vaginal stim. That can be a deal breaker. That can have a bearing on the toy(s) you buy.
If Your pleasure is her pleasure, then I would suggest a small high powered bullet for the clit, and a separate vibrator for the filling. And a pack of pound shop condoms if you fancied letting her try the vibrator out on yourself.
