Who likes the thought of soft swing fun with couple where bi wife is pregnant? she is not huge, and wants to play till dec, baby due start of march. this puts some people off, anyone turned on by it? |

I'd tend to agree with this. Being pregnant was a very special time for my husband and I, I couldn't imagine wanting to involve others into it. |

I felt so protective over my body when I was pregnant to swing with others even if it's "soft swing" comes with risks. That baby inside you should be the most important thing never mind a bit of fun with some random strangers. Swinging while pregnant forum posts will always bring up alot of different opinions and only you and your hubby can decide if the risks are worth it. I don't judge others but will give my thoughts lol. x |

this is our 4th & final child, we never swung with the other 3, and wont have full aex with anyone till after the baby is born at least.
we have only just got back into swinging when we found out about pregnancy, guess till march we are damaged goods, oh well lol

I know couples who soft play whilst pregnant, the baby is protected is there reply to ppl who ask why they do it. I smoked while pregnant on all my 3 kids, does that make me bad? There are plenty on here that will do.. Its an amazing time.. and just do what is right for you as a couple.
Enjoy your pregnancy.. enjoy being very sexy.. and mostly enjoy each other too..
If you stick pregnant in the search box you will find other threads and you will see that while some feel you shouldnt swing, there are plenty that also think its a wonderful thing to share.

If its something you want to do and you feel sexy and horny and feel its right then do what's right for you.
I personally wouldn't, I know baby is protected etc and its safe, but I'd feel wrong. I felt very serene and beautiful when pregnant but I didn't feel sexy. I was proud of my body, only wore clothes to emphasise my bump, but sex was the last thing on my mind. I wanted to sit in a meadow full of flowers making daisy chains and not have a stranger licking at my clit whilst I deep throated him. I wasn't in that horny mindset really.
I don't smoke or drink anyway, but I certainly wouldn't do it whilst pregnant. I do think that's wrong but again its the decision of the individual, we all have different degrees of what we find acceptable |

when I was married and my wife was carrying our child we were in the car at traffic lights when another car travelling at full pelt ploughed in to the rear of us..
she couldn't feel the baby moving and it was a very worrying time.
does that mean you shouldn't travel in a car?
life is a risk and all you can do is minimise it the best way you can.
smoking is incredibly selfish when pregnant as is drinking or taking non prescription meds, not just my opinion but that of the medical world too!
Things may seem ok but you never know what you are harbouring for the future.
As far as sex is concerned; its up to you...some women are extremely horny when pregnant, is it selfish to indulge in some soft play? I personally don't believe it is, even penetration is ok if done safely..
and yes I understand how some see it as a special time and don't wish too..

That is Your opinion. No withdrawral symptoms lol, i asked lots of questions when they was born, pefrect healthy wight and not a thing wrong with any of them. I gave my kids peanuts when young does that make me bad also? At least now they dont have allergys to them. There are lots of things ppl go on and on about theses days never did ppl harm back in the day when all this wasnt crazy like it is now. Not sure why ppl put theses posts as its personal choice, just like it was my personal choice to do what i did when I was pregnant.

I was very young when i got pregnant. I did smoke and have a couple of drinks every night, but i ate good food. My son was born perfectly healthy, and still is. Although if i got pregnant now, i would be more careful because i am a different person. |

I still dont believe everything the so called experts in the medical proffesion tell us. I think stress is more likely to be harmful for the unborn child. I know of lots of old women who smoked when they were pregnant and there kids were ok.

My kids are fine healthy etc etc we are very happy, so not really sure why im bothering replying. So many ppl live the health freaky lifestyle and doe of heart attack etc etc. There forums remind me of ppl pokeing there noses in where they shouldnt, this post is about Playing whilst pregnant not smoking whilst pregnant. No wonder ppl dont like to post in the forums

Using other people bad behaviour as an excuse for your own is really not plausible in any arguement...safe sexwise, smoking during pregnancy or any other subject. There are many levels of risk with everything. We all choose our own levels of comfort. When pregnant my unborn baby was my top priority. I didn't drink, smoke, eat the wrong things, swing, or do any dangerous activites. I was lucky enough to have two healthy beautiful babies. Of course things could have gone wrong but I would at least have known that I had done everything in my control to minimise the risks. |

Naturally all doctors adhere to their oath, first, do no harm. I'm sure the patient's of Dr Shipman and Korvorkian hung on their every word.
The bottom line is we will always listen to whoever agrees with our point of view.
When this issue was raised last week a woman wrote saying her doctor told her to continue smoking during her pregnancy...so she did.
It's little wonder some children turn out the way they do. When you realise what their mother's are...they didn't stand a chance.
We have a thread asking if people would kill and everyone has replied they would if someone hurt their child, yet the same people are on this thread advocating casual sex with all comers...no pun intended...whilst pregnant.
No matter how small the risk, is having sex with only your partner such a raw deal?
Some people's lifestyle is totally alien to me and their extreme views are expected, as it's rammed down our throats at every opportunity, but as a mother who has stood by the grave of my child I struggle to understand how a mother wouldn't try to do everything in her power to protect her child.

I agree with Sassy. Its wrong, on so many levels.
When you are pregnant you are responsible for two lives.
The smoking issue - I hate it when people say, oh I smoked and I was ok, yeah maybe so, good on you, you were lucky. It is not ok to smoke whilst pregnant, there are major health risks to the unborn child who has no choice. Do it if you want, please dont attempt to justify it as ok.
I would not put my child through any unnecessary risk. I ate healthily, I did not smoke, I did not drink, even I took gentle exercise. I actually didnt have sex once I found out I was pregnant, I didnt feel like it. Sex is not harmful for pregnant women.
But morally, having sex with other guys, and the men who are happy for their wives to do this, sorry I just dont agree with it. My views are that swinging is a great hobby, but surely people can force themselves to abstain for 9 months, it isnt that much of a trauma to connect with your own partner at this special time is it?
Oh and this GP thing - I hear lots said from women here saying, my GP said I had great tits, mine said Ive got a tight pussy, and the GP quoted here as saying he was a previous swinger. Who are these bloody unprofessional GPs? If mine spoke to me in this kind of way, Id have no problem reporting him. |

So the morale of this thread is?
Not sure I can find one. There seem to be many facets to this one.
On one hand it's morally reprehensible and how could you because it's a special time between you and your partner and you be putting the baby at risk even though some are prepared to smoke and think that all sound medical advice is mumbo jumbo but will follow the guidelines re safe sex? Have your cake and eat it...
Also if you're prepared to have sex with the baby's father why shouldn't you with others(safely of course) always minimising all risks.
So it's a pretty contentious issue with fors and againsts and perhaps we should all way up the vast amounts of opinions and medical advice ( smoking drinking etc) and choose what's right for you as an individual/couple.
Just a little side bar Q, what if it's a single lady/lesbian relationship and a sperm donation?

When you are pregnant you are responsible for two lives.
The smoking issue - I hate it when people say, oh I smoked and I was ok, yeah maybe so, good on you, you were lucky. It is not ok to smoke whilst pregnant, there are major health risks to the unborn child who has no choice. Do it if you want, please dont attempt to justify it as ok.
I would not put my child through any unnecessary risk. I ate healthily, I did not smoke, I did not drink, even I took gentle exercise. I actually didnt have sex once I found out I was pregnant, I didnt feel like it. Sex is not harmful for pregnant women.
But morally, having sex with other guys, and the men who are happy for their wives to do this, sorry I just dont agree with it. My views are that swinging is a great hobby, but surely people can force themselves to abstain for 9 months, it isnt that much of a trauma to connect with your own partner at this special time is it?
Oh and this GP thing - I hear lots said from women here saying, my GP said I had great tits, mine said Ive got a tight pussy, and the GP quoted here as saying he was a previous swinger. Who are these bloody unprofessional GPs? If mine spoke to me in this kind of way, Id have no problem reporting him. "
Yes I'm a little dubious about the GP comments but perhaps these comments are more of a generalisation than word for word.
I suppose it's just about within the bounds of reality to think that perhaps there are GPs who do swing and may have a shall we say 'more relaxed bed side manner' in how they talk to patients or even friends, after all how many profs say " we/I'm a professional person/couple" can't all be judges?can they?

Just a thought - why are people who are mothers to children who are no longer in their wombs swinging?
What if you were to catch some dreadful disease, die and leave your child motherless all because you couldn't resist deep throating a stranger in a hot tub?
Why are pregant woman allowed to leave the house? Drive a car? Go to work? Walk in the snow?
I'm torn about the issue. I've recently found out I was expecting and we're over the moon. I'm hornier than ever, as I was with my first child. I feel horny, sexy, filthy, naughty and everything else in between. We talk about swinging. We go months without swinging under normal circumstances. Not swinging for the duration of my pregnancy isn't going to be difficult but god I fancy it!
I don't think we will though, but doesn't stop us fantasising.
I don't think those that chose to are wrong - as for criticising the men who 'allow' their pregnant wives to swing? What's the difference? It doesn't mean anyone is less connected or close to their partner just because the swinging is taking place at a different time in their lives.
Gotta love the judegmental swingers out there.

I have read this one with interest.
My views...now although we were not swinging when I was pregnant....being pregnant was a very special time in our lives and the only person I wanted to share that with was the OH.
It did make me more horny, but that just meant the hubby got more than normal.
We are happy when it is just the two of us, another person added to the mix is just a pastime we all enjoy...and if the swinging stopped we would still be happy with each other... so it really wouldn't have bothered us to stop swinging for a few months ,especially at a time that is so special.

I do find these threads amusing... Just on some of the ways different people look at it..
I wasn't a swinger but at one point during one of my pregnancies had several partners... Midwife knew... Doctor knew... Only thing they suggested was safe sex...
It makes it no less special.. in fact for me I see it as even more special... Yes its just my view... But I think that the answer each to their own. Rather than given half heard medical advice and slating the morales of it.. its a beautiful time and for some multiple partners is part of their lifestyle..
When pregnant your told your not ill and just to carry on as normally as you can... So I think if your swinging before and both happy to carry on, then its your business.. and ignore those that say its wrong . As what they mean is its wrong to them.... If you enjoy it... And trust me plenty do... Then don't worry..

To me swinging while pregnant is the same as swinging with a newborn in the bed with you.
I can understand that hormones are all over the place, but it just seems really selfish to put your own wants above the safety of your child.
In the safe sex thread people are repeatedly told that using a condom and oral sex are only safer sex, not 100% safe. I just don't understand why someone would risk something so precious, just like I don't understand women who smoke or drink during pregnancy. |

I suppose that there is not really any medical reason why you shouldn't, apart from the obvious infection risks associated with sexual contact in any event.
Problem I see is more one of selfishness! It seems to be the "thing" these days, in our politically correct society that everyone has the right to do what they wish, within the law. For years we have been told that it is our choice and we shouldn't care what others think. In other words, be selfish!
Selfish? Yep! People who swing or do anything inherently dangerous where they could affect the life/lives of others are selfish, just like smoking which has also been bought up in this thread. Whether affecting an unborn child or those around you or those who can be injured by your “Acts or Omissions” it is nothing short of selfish.
I know the OP is just asking a question and from their response, they are going to be sensible, but there are loads out there who will see it as “their right”!

midwife states sex during pregnancy completly harmless,baby will actually enjoy mum being happy and enjoying the feel good emotions sex can bring.
We have decided that sex will be between us ( as it would be anyway wether pregnant or not). we will go down the route of watching others & being watched whilst out in car until such time as size is a bigger factor. (wife has always had small babies as we are not the biggest lol) |
