We think he means he was meeting up with another gent (the one who verified him) and a lady, but the lady didn't turn up. So the gent verified him as he had met him.
As for why he can only meet Mondays and Tuesdays, we don't see what that has to do with the OP's question? |

That's a huge assumption to make. Have you thought those could be his days off work? He may have children at home or flat share?
