We've probably all seen it, lassies selling private snaps or groups in periscope for a one off payment or subscription. Are these the new form of prostitution or is it selling as porn?

Technically they are selling themselves but don't get me wrong If I was hot and able to do it i would.

What's everyone else's thoughts?

Pretty sure that for prostitution you have to actually physically be with the person.

It's just porn. Selling pictures. People have been doing it long before this technology came around, and will be doing it long into the future.

See I get that and that's where I'm in 2 minds but say a 1to1 on cam and taking money would be classed as a personal sexual act as both parties are playing over each other. so it could come under prostitution but then again there's no contact so maybe porn

According to the OED it's "The practice or occupation of engaging in sexual activity with someone" so I guess it's down to what's the definition of sexual activity. Not sure what the legal definition is though.

My view is it doesnt matter whether you call it prostitution or porn. The person doing the snaps or streaming wants to make money. The viewer wants to see flesh. They choose whether to pay or not for the privilege. If they are happy to do so then crack on.

Plenty of free options so I will pass.
