I’ve had a few goes before but this is the first time not going cold turkey, so got patches and plans.
At what point would you consider me to be a non-smoker? I’ve left our profile as a one smoker couple for now because I’m pretty sure a few weeks doesn’t really count!

As soon as you stop I guess!
When I gave up I didn’t refer to myself as a non smoker for months! Think it was because I was used to being classed as a smoker!
Unfortunately I am again now after 10 months off them!
I’m stopping again in the new year! For good this time!!  |

If you go cold turkey it only takes about 2 weeks to flush the nicotine out of your system. After that it's the habit you have to break.
Mildred gave up nearly 2 yrs ago but she used a vape pen to keep her hands busy. The vape juice was zero nicotine. |

It's not about us, it's about you
The second after I put out my last cigarette was the moment I became a non smoker.
It was the last piece of the puzzle I needed to succeed in giving up because of course a 'non-smoker' has no need of another smoke no matter how tempted because they are a non-smoker and they don't smoke
