I'd be very surprised if this topic hasn't been raised here before, but I'm new here, and newly single after a long relationship - so please bear with me. This is my first ever thread.
I made the mistake of popping into one of the directing rooms earlier. The way some men approached women in there shocked me, and made me quite angry; their sole tactic seemed to be to subject the woman's arse to 5 minutes of concerted (and obviously disingenuous) smoke blowing - followed by a tirade of abuse when their advances were (inevitably) spurned.
I suspect that the women in there are quite used to this type of behaviour and chose to simply ignore it; but it's been a long time since I've been on the dating scene, so I wondered:
Is this kind of behaviour just confined to the chat rooms - or do blokes carry on like this in their messages and when they're out and about?
Is porn to blame for the apparent sense of entitlement and expectation to instant gratification that these men seem to have?
Does this tactic actually work for them?
Am I just being oversensitive and a grumpy old git?
Well, I guess that may well be true, because I am one - according to my offspring anyway! 
Anyway, your thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.... |

No it isn't limited to chat rooms. Yes they can be like it in real life.
I've had threats of getting my daughter taken off me by the police to telling my husband to name calling for not dropping everything to fuck or suck some guy

You’ll find numerous threads in the forums about how some single guys approach women in their first message then get abusive. It gets tiring so I intermittently hide my profile and have my filters as high as possible to cut down on this. There are still lot of lovely single guys out there not like this though  |
