So this is big for me to admit. I have a urine bag in the form of a stoma. It kept me alive and other than that I'm fit healthy and happy. It can be covered with a special belt or special nice underwear.
Why I understand it's not everyone's thing it's amazing how many times I've been called a freak or blocked in here. I would never call someone fat, too skinny, saggy or anything else.
I'm not looking for sympathy just to be treated as a normal person because trust me I am.

There's a reason for our username, it's a poke in the eye for those that do call us that, we can answer with glee 'yes we are'. Our disabilities don't stop us having fun so their ignorance certainly won't.
People who call names and try to shame others are usually trying to hide their own pain, or inner turmoil.
keep your chin up, there are lots more good folk out there than bad.

I have a few friends with stoma bags. Which are also lucky to be here. People always amaze me at what utter assholes they really can be. Just try an remember the good people ,

We’ve been swinging a fair few years and thought we had seen and heard it all op until we joined fab and it really does show what complete arse holes many people are. I think people forget this is a swinging site and is for people to look for fun. Instead it’s getting full of people who just want to belittle, humiliate and pick fault with others. Like a previous threat on about grammar really! If you met in a club you wouldn’t have any idea what there grammer was like. Your meeting the person for fun not to write letters. Ignore the haters they only say that shit because they can hid behind a keyboard. |

Sadly the world is an awful place and fab can be too. Remember there are some on here fighting battles that no one knows about and some disabilities can't be seen.

Bloody good for you guys...I'd block someone like that as well...people are people...short tall fat thin black white or any of the other myriad things we are...maybe it was a thoughtless comment that he didnt mean to be offensive but that shows an ignorance of other peoples feelings... Wouldn't it just be a much nicer world if we all thought for a moment before making a comment that might hurt upset or offend another human being |

I think 'Little People' is now the term we should use, as it causes least offence. I think it's preferable just to be accepting of people's size whatever it is - I suspect that if Warwick Davis was on here he'd have quite a following.... |
