Everyone should check out the retro club in Walsall it totally rocks big time lovely ladies great atmosphere always have a wicked time there. Karen and Tony the people that own it are top notch lovely people and will always make you feel welcomed. |

This club seems to be getting a lot of positive threads just lately..
I personally found it great when I went and the staff amazing..
The guys very well behaved and the girls great to chat to when not busy 
Will be going again..

ah yes the r3tro club,was suffering in despair for a litle while but tony & karen are pulling it all back together now just nicely! 
friday & saturday are great now and the place is jumping!.
i got some great friends there,the staff are very friendly and the girls just lovely.  |

had some great times there!,tuesday night is nice relaxed atmosphere with tinks & mandy hosting the proceedings,i have tried friday & saturday nights (hi to jen & ian!) and look forward to many more good times!.
one of the few places single guys are made to fel welcome on a saturday night!.

A Brothel is when you pay a girl for sex but at the retro you pay to come in and you do get single females and couples comeing in for fun. As single males or not running a round after them all night like at some clubs like a dog after a ball |

I think that as more women and couples go there that this place will really pick back up again.
I am on an invite back to the Bukkake night.. but I wont go without Master so makes it a bit difficult..
but they really did go the extra mile..
I do think that it should be back in the club listings..

That is my point.
Some people like to dress it up and try to make all sorts of excuses like "they are paid expenses" and so on.
I don't condemn the practice of women being paid to keep the punters happy and it is a safe place for women to work... but it's not what I would call 'swinging'.
Just because it's not the type of club I would choose to go to, I don't think it shouldn't be allowed... I just think some people should be a bit more honest about what it is. |

You need to be VERY careful with the scenario of girls being "paid" to entertain guests.
The Policing & Crime Act 2010 introduced into law an offence whereby it is illegal to pay for sex with someone a third party has coerced or deceived into providing the service. Controversially, it is a 'strict liability' offence: it is not necessary for the client to be aware of this.
Now whether it was considered that paying an entry fee constituted "paying for sex" is an arguable point.
I am not suggesting, before anyone gets on their soap box, that the girls at Retro are in any way coerced or deceived into providing their "services".
Right...the brothel situation.
It is, and always has been, illegal to own or run a "disorderly house" or "brothel".
This is anywhere where more than one man or woman resorts to for sex outside marriage.
This does not necessarily have to be at the same time, or involve intercourse, or indeed any payment at all....all swingers clubs would meet the definition of a "brothel" and thereby be illegal.
As to whether they would ever be prosecuted for such, who knows? That's for the CPS to decide and whether it would be in the "public interest".

i personally wouldnt class it as a brothel, you dont pay the women the club does, you pay an entry fee and the club pays the girls out of the entry fees, not all the women there are paid there are customer women that go too, so you dont have to play with the girls if you choose not to you can just go and play with the customers
Ive been a few times and to be honest the fact they have the girls there works for me because it stops loads of men following me about as they can get sex from the girls, yet i still get enough attention to have a good night
Ive always just seen it as a club with extras
But of course its not going to be for everyone |

they dont always, i have been a few times and ive had guys come onto me like they think im one of the girls and when ive said no thanks some have looked at me oddly
The regulars will get to know the girls and know whos a customer but some of the newer guys dont |

I suppose if you went with the intentions of not playing with the girls you'd ask the woman before hand, tho to be honest, i know i said you dont have to play with the girls if you dont want to, and obviously you dont as you dont have to do anything, i cant really see many men going to such a club if they had issues with the way its run
I've spoke to a few guys there and a think a lot have the same attitude, tho they would rather play with a woman whos doing it because they want to play with them they are happy to play with the girls too |

No, no money changes hands between the customers and the girls, the guys pay an entry fee and the club pays the girls, once the men are inside they have no more money to pay out, except bar bills lol
As for rubys question, the girls are pointed out to the men at the beggining of the night, every time i have been before play has started the Manager has pointed out the girls and told the guys which girls are in what play room, then the guys decide who they want to play with and go to the room that girls in, its mainly a gang bang club so if theres 3 women you will have 1 or 2 girls on a bed in a number of rooms surrounded by guys, so to be honest you can just look and see whos the girls, they play for a while, and have breaks scattered thro ut the night then back to play, so un less your totally stupid you can work out whos on the pay role and whos not just by their pattern of play
Tho as i have said, some find it hard to figure out lol
i know it sounds a bit seedy when its put like that but i have never had any problems there, i like the club because you dont get loads of guys following you everywhere, and i do find it much easier to approch men in there than any other club for some reason |

It's still the punters paying any way you try to justify how the payments are made.
If you go to shall we say chams and your in the round room and a couple or several ladies are playing in a GB you know and wouldn't even think these ladies are being paid to play would you!?
If these ladies weren't there would it be the same? I doubt it and for those of you who bought in to this well come on! see it for what it is...
They are there to get the ball rolling and to entice more guys to attend with a thinly veiled promise of sex especially in a GB as described by others.
at chams you know the score and for those who remark about being followed.... well come on if you go on a guys night what do you expect to happen? Let me think.....lots of guys hoping to find sex just like the ladies that are there.
Personally I prefer to stay put and enjoy the hot tubs, bar and perhaps the cinema but that still requires walking between the rooms oh also the round room.
'Devils advocate!' What's to stop guys thinking that all the ladies present aren't going home with a little extra....absolutely nothing!

To be honest, I think as long as everyone knows who is who and have a choice , then I don't see a problem , although I am not sure of the legality of it.
I spoke to someone a few weeks back who said there were escorts in a club and no one had been told, that I don't agree with, I think inform people and let them have the choice like at this club as not everyone will want to play with escorts.

isn't that the reason the club was removed from the club listings in the first place... because there was some ambiguity over whether a club paying women to be there to play with people was ethical
it certainly makes me feel very uneasy. |

if you know of any other be very careful before you make any allegations that may get you and the site into any trouble legally... |

you can always tell who are the girls paid by the club as they are the ones whose pics are adverttised online at club website or on the posters inside the club.
never been any problem i identifying the club girls from the visitors like miss naughtynymphos who are visiting for the night. |

I have to say there are plenty of clubs which pay working girls to be there.... it's just they tend not to try and do it under the banner of or in connection with swinging. They are generally pretty open about being a Gentlemans club.
I don't think retro is seedy because of what happens there and I don't think there shouldn't be places like retro. I do think it's a safe place for girls to work and I do see why it meets the needs of a variety of people.... but it is what it is.
The only thing I don't like is it being referred to as a swinging club.
We see frequent posts about guys giving off the impression they have come to a swinging site looking for free prostitutes .... and why wouldn't they think they'd find one on a swinging site if they know they'll find them in a 'swinging' club. |

Swingers are amateurs, and so don't get paid. If you get paid you're a professional.
If that means the place is a brothel because there's a payment to the performers, fair enough. The public gets told about it before going in.
It's not the sort of place we will go to, as we want to meet other couples like us, and we aren't paid performers.
I can see how places like Retros, which are a type of brothel, fulfill a useful role. |

We didn't list Retro in our book as we were told it was a brothel, I can see now, its essentially the same as the private club, but with a more open emphasis and probably even a closer mix to the swinging scene, so we should have included them, sadly as we go to print tomorrow, it will be too late, so thats one to add to our list for the second edition!
To add comment to the very detailed discussion above, there are several clubs that do turn a blind eye to working girls on their premesis but are fully aware of what goes on. Rio's in London would be another one that falls into this category. So its not the same as Retro's (Its worse really because money does change hands directly from punter to worker)
In terms of legal definitions, what is defined in 'Law' and what will hold up in court in terms of breaking that law, are two very different things indeed, as I am sure everyone is aware. |

Personally I would not want to go to a club that has prostitutes in it, only because we want to be on a level playing field with everyone else. Prostitutes have their place and I don't have a problem with that, I just don't believe that they belong in a Swingers Club, infact it does not sound like a very good club if you are having to pay women to perform.
Just my humble opinion.

A "brothel" in English law is place where more than one woman offers sexual intercourse, whether for payment or not.
The last Premier Inn i stayed did not have not have women offering sex as part of their service!
The previous description i gave uses somewhat dated expressions, but it is as oft quoted in legal text. Especially for "disorderly houses".
Section 33A of the Sexual Offences Act 1956 (inserted by Sexual Offences Act 2003) covers "non commercial" sexual encounters i.e. adult clubs.
It is a very complex web of legislation, but in short, prostitution is not illegal in the UK, but there are several offences relating to the use and control of prostitutes!
Any swingers club is almost certainly guilty of an offence under the Sexual Offences Act, namely that of being a brothel, and as such, the owners are liable to prosecution.
This is regardless of whether girls are paid to "perform" or not.
So people criticising Retro for being a "brothel" time to think again.....almost any swingers club you have ever been to....was a brothel!
Whether having paid girls is right or wrong, good or bad, it has no bearing on the use of the word "brothel"!

The club is very good if your wanting greedy girl style play, yet having the girls there means that you dont get the herds of men following the women around
Oh and they were actuall the most well behaved single men I have actually come across.. ( well actually it was me they came across)
Staff are brilliant too.. and I sat chatting to the girls on their break.

Im not sure what a lot of people expect this club to be like
Everyone going on about it being a brothel, havinging prostitutes and paying for sex
When you walk in there isnt a line of women that you pick one out and go and shag, you dont pay for the women
The women are just there playing in a group situation on the bed, if you want to join in you can if you dont you dont
The woman talk to your around the club, they sit and have a fag in the smoking area, they mingle between play sessions like any women in any club
When you go into a play room to be honest its no different at all to walking in the round room at chams, or any open room in any club
If the club wasnt honest about the fact that they 'put on women' you really wouldnt know, its only because they are pointed out to the customers so everyone know whos a 'hostess' and who are customer women that you do know
Im not defending the club as it makes no difference to me if people go or not, im mearly just saying wether you agree with it or not i doubt the club is anywhere near what a lot are expecting
Theres a few clubs out there that supply women but keep it under their hat, xtasia being one of them, but people go there and a lot love the place, would they still feel the same if they knew the place supplied girls?
Is it the club people dont like or just the thought of having 'prostitutes' there? |
