I’m 20 years older than my wife . That alone may be a good reason to suggest this thread may have a ring of truth to it .
But , strangely , I get plenty of female attention when we meet . Even though I don’t court it as I’m primarily voyeuristic .
So the male half of couples may be out of condition compared to the female , but still gets his share |

Men in general seem to have lower standards on here due to the law of supply and demand. Not sure of the ratio but if our messaging is an indicator then lots more guys chasing fewer women/couples.
Guys in their 40s or 50s probably won’t generally look as good as the hundreds of guys in their 20s or early 30s. Same with women but guys will go 20 years up just for a shag. Women don’t seem to want to do that which is understandable.

Lot of guys, even the single ones who are married (me) are not in great shape, but it’s all in the perception. Some ladies like the bigger guy, not just muscular. I’ve always been big built without training, 18.5” neck 48 chest 36 waist, big thighs and calf’s
My Mrs hates skinny guys and “gym bunnies”.

I’ve noticed that over a certain age the women look hotter than their partners. I don’t know if this is because women age better, or because there is more a women can do to sex herself up. Hairdye, corsets, high heels, lipstick. A women can flash some cleavage hense draw attention away from a mummy tummy. It’s much harder for a man to hide the aging process. My husband has a shave and puts on a nice shirt if he wants to look good.

I think I felt this more when I was part of a couple where there were more opinions on who liked who for it to work. We would often both like the woman but the man not for me. My other half seemed to get pissed off that I had standards and felt like he expected me to take one for the team. I never would and we’re clearly not together anymore!
I’ve noticed generally for couples that the woman is more attractive to me than the man. It’s very rare I’ll prefer the man to the woman but it does happen on odd occasions.  |

I think you’d find this true a lot of the time I had a couple profile with someone I met on here we both still had our single profile but to find a couple we both liked was not easy at all and she was a unicorn before I found her  |

I can't understand why people let themselves go, I'll be 36 in a couple of months and still sporting abs whilst many of my old school mates have got fat, I'm determined not to get out of shape as I age! I don't know about on here, because I don't really look for couples.
However, I do know that an awful lot of may mates in real life have been allowing themselves to slide for several years now and seem to have balooned/balded somewhat, whilst their wives have remained similarly built. |

All of you so called gym fit pieces of meat should know how much time they have spend working on it, especially as you get older. I work at the hospital and get about 2 hours a day for fitness and my partner works 60 hour weeks and pays a trainer to murder him twice a week.
As I enjoy the company of my partner, I would rather spend my free time with him than down the gym.
I had a gym fit boyfriend once who cared more about his abs than he did me.
