Feeble excuse's why people pull out of meets?

"Hi, just interested in excuses given.
We have had bloke reply saying can't come wife's had uncle Ben's microwave rice explode in face.  "
Bet he was upset, Uncle Ben playing with his wife and exploding in her face...must have given her a stern talking to.

It probably exploded as it was being talked to...like in the advert! Maybe he didnt talk nicely enough?
The problem is that , wild and daft as it sounds, maybe it WAS true!Not all excuses are feeble, sometimes real life happens(although it would take a helluva lot to get ME to not go to a meet  ) |

I had one who said he was still over the limit to drive by 6pm on a Sunday after his bender with 'the lads' the night before.
And couldn't let me know til 5pm because he'd only just woken up |

Years ago on a dating site my date was due to pick me up and phoned upset saying he was so nervous he'd crashed his car and caused a tailback in Croydon.
I blocked him and ignored his calls.
Turned on the tv and the local news was on. There was his car blocking the one way system in Croydon!
I didn't have the heart to phone him and ask if he was alright...my loss lol. |

I had a guy last night call me and cancel because his said his dad was ill
Tho to be fair that coule be a genuine reason rather than an excuse
Had one guy say his mum had died so couldnt make our meet turns out that was a lie as next time i spoke he seemed to have forgot and said he was going to his mums 60th party that weekend
i seem arrange meets with loads of guys with dodgy cars |

how do you decide whats a genuine reason and whats an exuse?
And what would you accept as a reason to cancel or do you think if someone arranges to meet you they should turn up no matter what?
I had a guy a few years ago get funny with me as i called to cancel a meet because my child cut her leg opne and i had to take her to the hospital, he obviously didnt believe me and said if i was telling the truth id have no problem telling him which hospital i was at and he'd come to check i was there 
Some people do have genuine reason to calcel problem is its upto you to decide if they telling the truth or not |

I don't think anyone should turn up no matter what. And I accept any reason for someone to cancel. Just not all that interested in what the reason is. It isn't worth getting worked up about. |

I had a guy text me 30mins after he was supposed meet me (I was sat waiting for him in a pub) saying he couldn't meet as he was still in bed with the woman he'd picked up the night before in town. At 2.30pm!
Not really a feeble excuse but was the meanest one I've ever had.  |

I had a lady try to cancel saying her house had burnt down, due to her over enthusiasm with the scented candles, pissed off, I turned the car round, got home, went in the shed and grabbed me tent...... Some people have no imagination |
