It’s said many times on here that single men looking for sex are not swingers...I think this is totally true and would never consider myself a swinger...HOWEVER.
what about couples who just seek women or worse still that pathetic term ‘unicorn’ that’s not entirely swinging, in the sense of ...

We play in all kinds of ways but I do know couples one in particular where it’s the female who only wants a female to join them in fact the male would like guys and couples to join then, so I think your comment is a bit of a generalisation |

I kind of see your point op
It got frustrating for us as a couple,looking to meet other couples,as so many are looking for an extra fem/bi fem.
We are both straight ,so finding another couple who want straight play is tough ,then then you have to factor in 4 way attraction and availability.
We now use our single profiles to meet and use this profile for forum/clubs and socials.
Its up to each person/couple how they meet and use the site,so i wouldnt be arrogant enough to suggest fab is just for couples to meet couples.
As long as people respect our way,we will do the same.

So basically if a couple isn't looking for a male to join them you aren't happy with it lol if all they want is a female so be it everyone comes on here for there own fantasies and to explore what there after not to please other people with what they want. |

Without singles, you can't have 3somes, in which ever dynamic. From my early days, couples have always looked for singles, luckily for me.
Swinging is a bit of a generic term these days, far from the car key parties and such. Any site is going to be overpopulated with single males, always have been. While they may be here for various reasons, there is still an argument to say they are swinger's, although not all get the dynamic or only want to meet 121. You could argue a single male meeting a single female or two females/guys aren't swinging, just meeting for nsa sex which possibly they could get from a dating site? At least with fab and sites like them you know what you have signed up for. |

What about the wives that love swinging and look for single women because SHE wants to? Or the fact that a lot of single men’s bad attitudes are the reasons why couples don’t want them in the first place.

Men, women and couples.
We have sex with men, women and couples.
Sarah prefers sex with women, however if a guy takes her fancy she's happy to have sex with him.

OP, if you're looking for logical consistency and continuity, then yes - those people who view single men as not swingers would generally have to extend that logic to single women. But I don't think that argument is going to change anyone's behavior or their outlook (it's also probably not the dominant perspective). Not to mention that fab (and the internet in general) is not really the place to argue for logical continuity   |

I didn't say anything about labels, so I'm not sure where that came from? I generally don't have a problem with labels. As for the sexist card, you kinda encouraged that with your own wording. It might not have been meant that way, but there it is nevertheless.
I believe I agreed generally with your point, that there is a hypocrisy in that particular way of thinking. I merely posited that pointing out such hypocrisy doesn't change anything...I doubt the people that are being hypocritical will notice it as such. Plus, people are generally hypocritical on here (I've noticed). Though I'll admit I'm not quite sure where hardcore forum crusaders fit into it all. |

Personally I feel swinging has changed over the years
With the use of tinder and the like people are much more pen to non monganous relationships and single people are looking for uncomplicated sex with busy lives
I think if you want to class yourselves as a swinger that’s fine and if you don’t you don’t
I’m sure even though we are here on fabswingers the name doesn’t necessarily mean the same to all
Just enjoy what you want and no one should worry whether they are a swinger or not
