Agreed, i prefer it being kept to the imagination or at least seeing more photos of the rest of their body as I’m more interested in that over what their genitals look like! It’s the same with women, too many fanny pics put me off

Speaking as a couple a balance should be made. For us one cock pic is enough on a profile to show what we're getting but it should be accompanied by at least a neck down shot, whether clothed or not.
Not everyone has a toned torso to display either, plus a toned torso in boxers isn't going to cut it if the boxers are hiding a micro-penis.
We see it as similar to female profiles that just show a pair of tits.
