How long do you keep them?
I've a bad habit of deleting them more or less straight away, not good when there is information you could have done with accessing, plus, sometimes you loose context.
Must discipline myself, that or ignore the delete button. |

I’m glad you think that there’s information in the messages that you feel is worth accessing . We find this is rarely the case and delete most without even reading them |

"We delete straight away but will make notes of key info in their profile notes or save that message. "
Now that is a great idea. Wonder if I could set up something like that in Kik as well.
Thank you |

99% of messages on fab get deleted. Some fab messages may look deleted to the sender but if they’re important enough or from someone special they’re in my saved folder for as long as is relevant.
On kik I keep everything as far as history allows. If something important is going to disappear because of the volume of kik messages I sometimes even screenshot. It’s important for things like agreements and boundaries. Shame kik doesn’t have note making facility
I find it invaluable for sanity/gaslighting check that I’m not talking out of my arse when someone tries to tell me the sky is pink |

We keep messages for a while, and we also make private notes about people. It's impossible to remember what was said once messages are deleted, as my memory is worse than a broken seive! |
