"Hi all, I know there is a post on here already about "Vasectomy" but here is my review on the new method. I have been thinking about it for a couple of years now, but the thought of a needle anywhere near my sack puts me right off. But.... There is a new(ish) way now. It's called "No scalpel Vasectomy" and I had it done last Friday. So easy and quick. Filled out a form online, they called me back, booked it there and then, had it done a week later. When I turned up, only waited around for a while, then in I went. There is no need for a needle now as the anesthetic is a high pressure gadget, (bit like a reverse solder sucker for those who know what i mean). A few squirts with that and it's 100% numb. Next up, a small hole is made, the Vas hooked out, cut and cauterized. All done, no pain at all. (About 10 mins). When I got home, there was slight pain but this was taken care of with a couple of pain killers. So here I am writing this 72 hours afterwards with only a slight pain if i touch the area affected. When it comes to getting tested, there is no need to go back up there and go to a room on my own with a mag. Oh no, I can do it at home and send it off in the pre paid envelope. Nice. I went private, (£325) but i know the place I went to takes NHS people as well. I hope this review is of use to someone, just wanted to share it with you. Any questions, please ask.
