We had DVP last night again. Forget the rubbish about slimmer cocks.
What you need are a couple of guys that are comfortable around each other and who will stay hard in close proximity to each other.
If they jump away from each other when their shoulders accidentally touch then you know it's never going to happen. The same goes if you spend 30 mins trying to suck them hard because they're scared they've got their willy out in front of another guy.
Advice: plenty of play leading up to it so it's nice and wet, or a bit of lube. The easiest position is one guy lying on his back, the lady cowgirl on top, and the other guy comes in from behind.
Had an awesome night last night playing with 3 guys, all happy to switch positions (underneath, behind, mouth) and all comfortable with DVP and DOP/TOP.

Cowgirl then lowering forward allowing the second to come in from behind is the easiest - may also help to get close to the edge of the bed if it's a average height bed, so the behind guy can stand.
The reverse cowgirl position tends to be harder to sustain quite so well as the underneath guy has to bear quite a lot of weight and typically can't do much of the moving. Again, near to the edge of a bed can help a bit with this.
Lots of pillows available for propping up helps.
Being able to both get and stay hard helps as it can take a bit of time to get the mechanics sorted. Obviously lots of lube (natural or added!) and being really turned on is key! Probably wouldn't try going straight into DV until at least one has been in already. (Who wouldn't be happy to a couple of alternations of spitroast first?)
Obviously the gents have to be comfortable to be touching in various ways - not just cocks but balls and legs are all going to be touching and rubbing. The guy with the most freedom may have to assist with re-entry duties when things inevitably pop out!
