This is possibly my biggest frustration on this site!! People lying about their age!! It's frigging hilarious when people put themselves as early 30's when clearly they are over 50!! Unless they have been using crack since they were 3 there is no way they can possibly look 55 but be 31! It happens with both sexes!! Why can't people embrace their age surely there are enough people on here of all age groups?? |

We're honest about our ages.
And we do prefer others to be honest about theirs.
Although some of the '31' year olds that message us make me feel better about my age.
'cos if they're younger than me, then I'm not doing too bad for myself 
I mean seriously, sometimes I wonder if they're lying to us or themselves.

I'm with honesty being best policy. That way no surprises for either party, don't improve my pics with software either.
Yea the ones that claim to be 20 years younger than they CLEARLY are even in flattering pics - who they trying to kid? |

It doesn't make me a compulsive liar just because I don't want to have any personal info on my profile...so scarlet isn't my name and I don't live in the gin palace either.

The last time I lied about my age I was either trying to get served alcohol or get into an X rated film (which shows how long ago that must have been). As an adult I've never cared about telling people my age. |

Im 40 and the main pace pic i sent i quite often get comments that i look younger although it's just a lucky pic! Wouldn't say I look young for my age just normal |

I used to show my real age until I realised that just about all the single guys I knew and were around my age had shaved a few years off their age on here.
I also used to get a bit frustrated by the fact that quite often when I met couples and single ladies at clubs we'd get on well and exchange Fab ID but when I tried to get in touch afterwards I was unable to message them because of age restrictions.
I feel no shame in being 50 and never hide it when asked directly. Besides, most of the time people assume I'm 5 or more years younger than I am anyway. |

I went for a drink a while back wuth a guy that tugned out to be 12 years older and about 6 stone heavier in real life than in the photos he had sent. He then got shitty when I picked him up on it and couldn't understand why I didn't want to take things further 
Honesty is best - my photos show what I really look like (ok maybe a nice filter here and there!) and my age is my age |

It really irritates me that people lie about their age. It’s weird that someone would misrepresent themselves in an attempt to fool someone into talking with them or meeting them. Even if a person is attractive, once i find out they’ve lied about their age I’m instantly turned off,
There’s also a lot of people on here who clearly have photos of themselves taken in the early 2000’s, yet they present them as if they’re current.
Everyone just be proud of who you are right now and work on making the current you the best version it could be. It’s much better than lying to and misleading people

People age very differently based on genetics and lifestyle. There is a branch is study called gerontology all about ageing.
I meet for a social first so people lie about there age isn't a problem and I have seen people in their fifties that look better than people in their twenties. |

As we go to clubs then connect on here doesn't really effect us now but we we have met/bumped into people off here who have clearly lied very off putting, if your not like profile then its a wasted meet. Our profile is 100% truthful we are what we are |

Our ages are correct and photos are all recent and an accurate representation of us to prevent disappointment when we meet people.
We've met several that have sent very old photo's and were actually unrecognisable in the flesh and never in a good way. Needless to say they've left unfucked, don't really appreciate our time being wasted.
