When two fabsters get together, create a couples profile and then put up numerous excessive statuses about how they cannot wait to see one another, how great the other is, blah blah blah.

I cannot be the only person who finds this a little frustrating?

I must admit, I did block one couple as they were putting up constant statuses, several a day, about each other and I got sick of seeing them in my updates. They went unlos after a few months though.

No, I find it a weird mix of sweet, icky and ouchy (the ouchy comes from the amount of times I've seen since it go tits up with that also played out in status updates - it makes me wince to see and it often comes from the ones who are most effusive in the beginning).

I find it really tacky when people direct endless statuses at each other - just send the person a PM or a WhatsApp if you have something to say to them!

The "couples" that are newish and feel the need to broadcast everything over fab generally don't last longer than a few months and the profile will suddenly disappear or become just the bloke playing on his own

I don't get why you would find it frustrating? I find it foolish to be too gushing too publicly, but sometimes they're just genuinely excited and infatuated and I am happy for them!
