Depends on the context of brat.
Sexually demanding - maybe.
If they were throwing their dummy out of the pram over my time, attention etc when I wasn't with them - no chance. We're married and have kids and our free time is precious, our family time and time together more so I'm afraid.

"And they turned into a right brat, would you?"
Depends most people are brats because of an unmet need so follow the process of asking what is it she needs, can I give that, do I want to give that, am I capable of giving that, can I give the level she needs and (if you trade) do I get enough to satisfy my needs to make it worthwhile. Otherwise don't. Simple |

Second a demand is made for my time it no longer feels like my own, given that it is and shall continue to be I’d cut off the cause of the demand. Time is an investment not a necessity. |

I dated a lovely girl when I was a student, she invited me to her parents' for lunch. Once there she turned into a spoilt, demanding brat with her parents. Shocking to see, I had to end it with her. |
