So what was mean to to be a FFM meet tonight has turned into a walk around Lidl looking for lightbulbs.

We feel like we are running a Fab marathon but no win in sight.

They've got an excellent Potuguese red from Borba try it!

On a more serious note, part of what i'd call the fab pitfalls

Halps to have a plan B!

Last night it was Lucifer (god he’s fit!) and porn with Roger Rabbit

Tonight it’s meeting a male stripper at a swinging club for hours of rampant sex!

Woe is me!

After a bright and enthusiastic beginning on Fab, I'm now starting to see far more of what I read about.

No shows, late cancellations, stopping communications after arranging a meet, blocks.

Latest block was apparently for having the temerity to suggest a day time social. Was told that she had a full time job with several exclamation marks and then blocked.

Thing is though, alot of men DO assume we are available 24/7. Sitting waiting with wet knickers

It doesnt seem to cross their minds that the ladies on here might have jobs, children and grown up responsibilities

Maybe she had been on the receiving end of a few like that, and you took the brunt?

Turn it around, how about "How do you feel about a social first & if ok what times/days are good for you?"

Get nothing or q block from that & you can draw your own conclusions.

"We must be lucky, got to admit, best meets have been in clubs."

Agree!

As a single fem I tend to play with couples at clubs and parties! There I feel we’re on an equal footing.

Going to their home, their territory, when there are two of them and one of me? Even I’d find that intimidating and I’m one of the most confident people I know! Xx

.

I think wasted time maybe wrong, esp as a couple, you can share that time together.

I think 'let down' is more appropriate maybe. There's lots of people getting let down lately in the threads, it's quite disappointing to hear, and doesn't fill the place up with much confidence.

As a couple I'd say wasted time is correct. There are plenty of things a couple could do that they put on hold, for the notion that they are going to meet somebody or people. They are also let-down by those that arrange to meet and don't, this isn't an either or statement its both.

The caveat is of course to have a plan B and move to that instead, but in some cases, that plan isn't quite as straight forward as the meet itself would have been. The only thing I can suggest is that if you agree to meet, do it somewhere you could stay or that's something nearby that could fill that gap in your time.

So I spend time getting to know a couple and we exchange emails and progress to exchanging e mail addresses.

They have posted a meeting request at a hotel or at potential playmates house. The e mail sent today is as follows;

Hi Harry

We are meeting this evening and have booked a hotel in [large city in the north] we are meeting at 8 and would love you to come along. We have 6 other horny guys coming too for what will be a great bonfire party!

We are making a small charge of £100 per person to cover the costs.

Hope to see you this evening!

The hotel in question must be the Dorchester!

I truly give up!

That's what I thought too. If they are having a sleepover you could go to a club. If they are in the house I'm not suprised the woman wasn't keen.

No they didn't. But I see wasted time said a lot. When the title said 'let down' it was probably more appropriate for a lot of cases.

Yeah that's a good point. Although I suppose people count the time spent chatting beforehand as wasted.

Believe it or not, they would be in their own rooms, asleep. That leaves a substantial amount of other rooms child free. Which we can have the typical husband and wife sex in at any point. Sometimes, when we are not let down, someone else can join us. Can’t see how kids factor in that formula?

Not a chance I'd go to someone's house if kids were there. They could wake up at any time. Highly disrespectful.
