I've never thought it would be a problem but as someone who rarely gets really wet and I can count the number of times on one hand, I was surprised about a recent evening.
I don't know what he did or what it was but I was soaking! I've never been so wet, didn't think it was possible but after fingering me and before sex, he goes to wash his hands and then tried to continue?
Maybe Its just me but it felt like I was disgusting when I know I was clean, smelling right and tasting right so I don't get why he would wash his hands and not celebrate his handiwork?

I would have washed my hands. It might smell ok now, but it won't in 30 minutes when we're in missionary and my hands are 8cm from my face. Actually I'd use wet wipes but you get the picture. |

I've managed to get several ladies very wet in the past,the wetter the better as far as I'm concerned. Means I'm doing it right,at least as far as that particular lady is concerend,certaintly wouldn't be dashing off to wash my hands. |

Maybe he’s just big on hygiene or a little OCD? Would have been polite to warn you in advance but perhaps he’s embarrassed by it. No such thing as too wetland I'd be cleaning my hands with my tongue not the sink!
