Well its taken a while but I have finally realised the vast difference in time and resources between Fab and Club meets. Numerous time wasters on here who talk the talk but don't walk the walk!
On the other side of the coin a simple visit to the nearest Club and I have been lucky enough to meet some truly wonderful people every single visit.
Now looking on Fab as a general chat site with a bit of cheeky cyber thrown in! Wondered if others have experienced this? |

I started off just on fab. Then I started going to clubs and messaging/meets from fab are now rare.
I prefer meeting people face to face at clubs and have found that I am attracted to some people I would never have considered based on their profile and pictures on fab.
I only really use fab nowadays to keep in touch with people I've met in clubs and for the forums. |

I like to chat on here then prefer to meet at a club with them
If no spark can always still have a great night and do our own thing
If all good play at the club then hotel it next time
Plus if they don’t turn up ... no loss x |

Same for us!
We find fab interesting, and useful to see who is around, who goes to Clubs and also to get Club reviews and look at veri’s.
Once at a Club we don’t bother with veri’s!, just make our own minds up. If we meet someone we like great, if not we have fun on our own.
The advantage of a Club is of course ALL the people are real |

Tried clubs...they're a bit 'meh'
Your limited to the people there on the night, most times I've been I've not been all that attracted tot the folk at them, from here the nearest is 20 miles away so you have to piss about coming and going etc,
They're OK for a visit and a bit of a different night out but for me, they're not what I'd call sexy places. |

"Totally agree with previous posts.
Clubs are for guys who do, Fab for guys who say they do.
I love this quote ... 100% spot on ! "

Fab is a brilliant tool for me
I love clubs and parties so where else to find out what's going on and where via
-Swinging clubs events ads and other forum threads
-organiser meets
-club meets
-statuses
-messages
-friends updates
-local updates
All above to connect with friends and new people who are going too

Clubs for us.
Even people who get in touch on the site we'll ask to meet at a club.
If they won't, then we'll not meet.
If they're not like their pics, or if they're a no show, or if they just aren't for us / we're not for them. No harm done. You can still have your fun in the club.
And for all those who say we could be missing out on a great meet by not meeting private etc, we're not! If it's something we're uncomfortable with, we won't be doing it as we won't enjoy it.
We don't expect people who don't want to go to a club to go there for us, we just won't meet as we're clearly not compatible. |

"How true. Feel that my profile is somewhat limited and one dimensional and doesn't reflect my personality. Time for an update I think!"
I do agree that you can't really get to know someone just by reading a profile.
But you can by messaging and having a conversation, 'getting to know someone'. If all you are after is instant gratification, then perhaps a club is the way forward. As my previous post said, I've never been to one, never needed to. |

fabs great for networking.... but for meets if it goes further i then tend to suggest clubs....
its not one versus the other as such, but part of a bigger jigsaw where you can get the different pieces to work for you and not just relying on any bit as the be all and end all.... |
