I have been in contact with someone with an unverified profile.... she has been asking for pictures.... when I asked for theirs they deleted my messages! I am minded to think she (he) is a picture collector.... so is it reasonable for someone with an unverified profile to ‘prove’ themselves.... I have been let down several times before by unverified profiles... |

In all fairness, you’re not sharing any photos. If you’d contacted us, we would want to see some photos of sorts. If you couldn’t, then we would delete and block. Sorry for being brutally honest.

You gotta remember that women on here are likely to be sifting through hundreds of messages a day. Through sheer lack of time, they’re likely to bin all messages that have no pics on their profiles. Sadly, you’re selling in an oversaturated market and without ‘standing out’, you’re gonna be dead in the water.
Best of luck though.

"That’s fine, and I’m more than happy to share photos with verified people who I have found to be far more genuine than unverified.... but thank you for your honesty. It’s food for thought "
Believe me there is a healthy ratio of time wasters and fakes from both verified and verified people.
Go by your instincts, don't put your faith into green ticks. |

A verified account doesnt mean much at all, it doesn't even require the user to use a face pic with admin. Blank profiles of any variety are usually a red flag, often equating to pic collectors and time wasters. This includes silloette avatars.
I won't give you any advice on your own profile etc etc as you haven't asked for anything like that. But if you do want to learn more about profiles, spotting timewasters then just do some forum searches as the subjects have been discussed many times before. |

You don't have any pictures on your profile, not even for friends, so it looks like you have none at all.
She had to ask you for some, so you didn't send any with your initial messages.
You didn't send her any when she asked.
You just asked her for some.
She might have thought it was you who was pic collecting and changed her mind?
Don't forget that women tend to get a lot more shit in "real life" for being on sites like this than men do, so some tend to be a lot more private.
At least she started talking to you, I wouldn't have done. |

I'm not saying they weren't a pic collector, they might well have been, but look at it from the other side, from the point of view of someone looking at you and what information (or what little information) you have given them... |

Agreed, but there are a few blank/hidden profiles that are not time wasters with hidden motives...
Spotting "red flags" without excluding the genuine ones takes time and experience. |

Hence why I said "usually". Red flag doesn't mean to exclude, it just means to take extra care and precaution... Speaking from experience |

Haha like it! That is true taking extra care and precaution is necessary on occasions. |

Honestly we don’t look at messages from silhouettes, there are so many people on this site that at least try and attraction some attention to make you want to open the message.

I would suspect the profile you are worried is a time-waster or a fake. Women have a lot of choice here so the likelihood of a genuine female profile being interested in a practically blank profile is very slim. I'm sorry you've come across a lot of timewasters, but a profile with no pictures, hidden verifications and minimal information on the text is only likely to attract time-waster.

If you don't want to share your photos with them then ask them to go on cam with you in the chat rooms. That way you can both see each other without having to ask for or send photos to each other.

"Anyone who is unverified for six months or more is a time waster or a fake.

We were an exception. A good 6 months with no photos, no verifications, and no effort to meet. We made up for lost time though!

"Anyone who is unverified for six months or more is a time waster or a fake.
No exceptions. "
So by this "Rule":
If you meet others regularly and do indeed turn up for those meets is it really necessary to inform all fab members to not get labelled a fake or timewaster??
Funny, I didn't remember reading this on the site rules when I joined. Is it new??
Lord save us! |

Pretty much yes.
Only way people know you are genuine.
Fab is infested with fakes and time wasters sadly
If you don’t leave verifications and dont ask others to verify you then you can only blame yourself if nobody believes you. |
