Admin should (in our humble opinion) attempt to limit bogus profiles, the ones that proclaim to be a single female, but really a couple seeking a female.
Just like single guys having profile pics of females to attract attention.
And of course the single guy pretending to be a couple.
Its all very misleading and rather annoying.
Just a rant, as its rife on here! |

Then don't moderate then. Chose verified folks and do your homework. In the 10 years I've been off and on on Fab I've never had a timewaster as I chose my meets carefully. |

It's not straight forward either. I (Mrs) had my own profile but would meet at my home.
Naturally hubby lives here too so I would always make it clear I'm a couple but meet alone, though hubby would be here.
Just on a couple profile now. But far less interest! |

I don't suppose its an easy job, there aren't many mods on here and they do it voluntarily. All we can do is keep reporting these people.  |

I would have thought checking verifications on these profiles would help. I think we all have to do a bit of research to find the genuine ones, they're not going away unfortunately. |

I can understand your frustration but I can't see how it could be changed for the better.
What would you suggest they do OP?
As a single female I am used to having my valuable time taken up by people I don't want to interact with on fab - it's par for the course. I have to wade through about 100 messages to find one from someone who I would like to chat to. |

How or who determines a profile is bogus?
Gut reaction...thats reliable
Prejudice against the profile content...thats subjective
Someone sends a message you don't like...yeah that will work well
Don't want to meet you...thdy have choices too
There are report mechanisms in place..
Until you need to use them...
Just treat it like the matrix...
Every one is bogus until you know otherwise...

It's a free site wit thousandd of profilrd. Admin can't check them all but they do check the reports
Surely it's not difficult to click on report button? |

 wise words, and when you've been doing this long enough it's fairly easy to spot fakes and time wasters. |

I'm having my time wasted by profiles with verifications. I am not entirely sure what in the OP's post is objectionable.
Then again, I feel that there is a clique on the forum who uses Fab as much for social lubrication as they do for swinging (many on the forums dont really use it for swinging at all) and thus they simply cant understand the frustration of those who use Fab simply as a NSA/swinging site.
You have to take the good with the bad OP, I have found the only way to really counteract that is to attend as many real life events as possible. Socials/parties/clubs...these tend to out the losers and fantasists. |

We have been on the scene for over 4 years and on and off of fabs most of that time. We attend VAs and Jaydees when time permits, have a particularly lovely hotel we frequent at times also. Certainly not newbies the

But this is a forum, where everyone can speak their views, that’s the beauty of this place. I haven’t noticed anyone being rude or insulting towards you, just disagreeing with you, so I can’t see grounds for a forum ban.
On the original note, I only search by verified profiles and block newbies and have never come across a fake profile. The tools are there, courtesy of admin. They aren’t perfect as nothing can be, but they help hugely. |

Bans are applied if rules are broken. Nobody who has replied to you has broken any forum rules which you can find here
