Verification Hijacked by male to male verifies

I've been looking over many profiles of late, pondering what people write and how they have success.
In doing this I noticed a common male account verifying hundreds of other male accounts 'I've known this man a long time' blahblah.
The verification is consistent in it's context and typically most are around the same period of time. They are all a 'meet in person'.
This puzzles me because nearly all the males are Straight and there doesn't seem to be an event at that time and the 'known for a long time' is kinda cliche.
Is there an ALL STRAIGHT SOLO MENS swingers group hidden in the UK because not all the profiles are in London or local, or have my alarm bells and forensic skills picked up on something unusual?
Also curious about quite a few STRAIGHT MALE profiles that only appear to have SINGLE MAN verifications. One has several!
I won't name the profiles, and for the moment will kept my forensic starting point unpublished.
Your comments and opinion? The whole idea of the verification system is to enable genuine people to verify genuine people. Does this behaviour make the process less genuine?

Verification or not we would only tend to meet after seeing who ever on webcam or at the very least a phone call.
We are completely unverified apart from on webcam as we did meet a couple but they have now left.
But whilst a verification is nice its no garuantee. |

How would you have coped 15 years ago! We had no web cams!
And to be honest, we had more success in meets and parties back then than we do today. Admittedly different country and culture, so I don't know what it was like in the UK 15 years ago.
Is it the use of technology that has made people, to use the term in its accurate sense 'prejudiced' on meeting?
Is it that today our reliance on internet communications as a basis for meeting people is overwhelming and unlike 15 years ago where the number of online people was staggeringly smaller, and people were more likely than not using a real name (or known handle) and genuine and honest, compared with today?
It was rare to see a male posing in an IRC channel as a female 15 years ago. Today it's almost the norm!

Internet Relay Chat, I think..... or summat like that.
It was a kind of chat site used by IT-eperts/specialists, before user-friendly interfaces were written, which opened up Chatrooms to us all. x |

I agree with the above. Something very fishy there. Why would a straight single guy verify another straight single guy? It doesn't add up on this site at all in my book and I'm sorry if I'm proved wrong. |

If a single male meets another single male at a party or a social why shouldn't they verify each other. The verification is genuine. They're both on here and they've met,which is all you need for a verification.
Do people have the same attitude about straight fems verifying each other?
If not,why not? |

People's profiles (including verifications & photos) are personal. If you like what you read/see then, whoopee, it's a result.
If you don't or think there is something "fishy", then move on to the next. It's your choice.
Many people read verifications as they can say a lot about the people, their interests & the type of folk they like to meet.
The verification "tick" is becoming increasingly important because, sadly, there appears to be a growing number of fake profiles who get their jollies online (according to posts on this forum). |

I would never take any notice of a male verifying a male.I'm not gay nor Bi so they just don't go on my radar.
Couples are one thing but single male sounds dodgy. |
