You often see this in profiles and on verifications. But what does it mean to you?
Would you take being described as being "a very down to earth" lady/cpl/guy as a compliment or would you be a bit miffed?
To us the term does conjure up thoughts of being a bit plain or mundane.
Whats your thoughts on the term?

No to me it means amiable, easy to get on with, doesn't care about what someone is or does for a living.
I would describe myself as down to earth, no airs and graces, happy to chat to anyone and certainly not mundane |

I don't see plain and mundane, I see ordinary, everyday normal people.
We've learned to take peoples self descriptions with a big pinch of salt.
If they said they didn't want to meet "very down to earth" people, we would just move on.

I dont mind plain mundane people, down to earth types are not show offs, always talking about how much money they have been spending or how good they look.
