Looking at your avatar your hair looks short to me.

Personally I think curls on a woman are better, wouldn't know if it makes them look any younger. Just draws the attention to their eyes and some you can get lost in

Long hair on older women looks great but the secret is to make it a feature

Hell im older have long hair and brightly coloured and complimented all the time ... yes guess there’s a bit of grey but don’t really know cos I dye it all the time

Who knows when I will start reaching for the Blue rinse instead of the Pink haha if ever

Hiding in the shadows

Love your hair Scarlett, I'm quite jealous!

Ive had mine red & shades of pink since I was a teen, until a few yrs ago, I had an allergic reaction & havn't dyed it since.

I've always had long hair, at it's longest it was past my bum.

But has to have it cut to my shoulders when I has the reaction.

It didn't suit me, it's now just about level with my nipples.

Never going short again.

I'm going the opposite way.

I had very short hair in my 20s when my face and body looked better

I keep it long now to distract from the old face and body

Thank you

I have had diet hair too when I first became a Mum 20 years back but really wasn’t for me

I missed being able to tie it up and actually was harder to manage as When having a bad hair day there wasn’t much I could do

The colour ? I’m naturally blonde but when I first was on here I had had my hair almost platinum and then like yourself couldn’t bleach it anymore after one day out of the blue I had a bad reaction too

Now for the last 3 years a high lift tint and then the pink (my profile pic is a red wig haha)

They may be right, but i say make your own mind up about what you like. Or ask your partner or someone who you think looks good or would know more. I know a woman in her sixties who had dark brown hair now has it coloured blonde, it might be highlites but it looks really good. Im in my late 50s my hair is naturaly brown with some grey, i wouldnt colour it because i have sensitive skin.

Great wig!

My hair is naturally very curly, when it was short it was such an effort as had to 'style' it every morning or I looked like a 1970s afro!

Long, I can run my fingers through it, stick it in a plait or twist it into a knot & I'm out the door.

I do straighten sometimes when I go out.. Now that's a 2hr job lol x

I'm fast approaching 50 and still have long hair. I love my hair, it makes me feel very feminine and sexy, and can't imagine cutting it just because I'm getting older. I'm quite lucky in as much as I like my natural colour, and so far, I only have a few barely noticeable silver hairs, which I actually quite like. I won't have any qualms about keeping it long and natural as I get older, as long as it still looks and feels good.

Myself I much prefer long dark brown hair over any colour on any age lady.

I promised myself that once I turned grey I would have it cut short but so far hardly any grey so I could well have long hair when I reach 60

Have the hair you want not how you think society thinks you should have it
