What's the point in age range when a lot of people on here lie about their ages I can forgive maybe 1 or 2 years but lying just because they think it's ok to be deceitful so they can bed someone younger. Just be honest about your age if people don't want to meet you just move on don't lie about it. |

How can you get your age so wrong? Surely you can remember your own birthday.
The site does allow you to change your age once for those who have made a genuine error when putting in their age.
They won't let you keep changing it because many people would do this to try and get around age filters. |

We don't see the point in lying about our ages and are quite prepared to tell somebody no if they don't look their age.
We are confused by fabs search system as a lot of couples have 50 as a cut off point but if we did a search many of them will appear in the search results. Can only assume that it takes the youngest persons age as it's search parameter. |

It does. Male here is 50 and woman 46 and we are able to message people who set their age limits at 46-49  |

I know of a few profile that aren't giving their true age due to the fact the think they can pass for younger but still it's lying and like someone said if they can lie about something so insignificant then what else are they lying about |

You could say the same about people's pictures, Taken at certain angles peoples bodies/body parts look bigger/smaller
You should have at least one normal full body picture, Fully dressed semi naked or naked is up to you |

Should have account sign up using credit card details... not for payment purposes, purely for verification as DOB can be entered against the database checks as part of this process. Also, this may leave a higher proportion of genuine people on the site, however I understand this method will also deter a number of genuine peeps. |

Age may just be a number for some people but I personally prefer younger guys over older men, that's my preference.
If it's just a number to some then leave your age range open but for people like me that filter is important |

We do enjoy a good giggle when we see the ages some people claim to be on here, we advertise our real ages, if that's too old for some people, then so be it x |

Same here, we have a laugh when supposedly younger couples send us face pics before a meet and they look much older then us. Glad we look young for our age. No point in fibbing You get found out in the end. Attraction isn't dependent on age in any case. If someone is only after under 50s then that is there choice and we arnt for you. Your loss not ours.

My age is correct and as others have said, it's just a number.
My age doesn't bother me one iota and neither does anyone else's.
Can't understand why people get so hung up on it to be honest. |

To be fair it's an easy statement to make as a woman on fab!
Plenty of men will meet us whatever our age simply because there's a shortage of women on fab!
For guys it's different. Women tend to have narrower accepted age ranges as a way of reducing the number of messages - I know I do!
I've met a couple of exceptionally well preserved guys my own age who claimed to be around the 40 mark! Had they been honest about their age then they wouldn't have been able to message me!
Can't say I necessarily approve but I DO understand!
As long as the face and body pics are recent (theirs were) then I'll simply decide whether I'm attracted to them or not whatever the age!

If you look your age and knock off a few years, it will only show up when you meet up. I know of one person here who has knocked 10 years off her true age. It might get a few more messages, but when it gets to meeting, the truth will be brutal in its honesty. |

Both our ages are truth. But we have spoken to someone before and the age compared to the picture looked very different. We still dont know if they are lieing or we are being too judgemental by thinking they look way older in pictures!  |

My age is real. Can’t do anything about it so I don’t lie. I like younger guys and have set my age range accordingly but it does frustrate me when I’m messaged by somebody who is clearly chancing their arm....or something else for that matter! So you’re 45? Sure that’s not born in ‘45? Delete!!! |

They might get a shag for saying they were younger. Where's the harm? If you don't want to meet them let someone else meet them. |
