I guess some women do like men dressing and some don't.
Personally i don't like it and if i see that a guy has dressed at some point we won't meet the guy even if he doesn't dress on every meet. |

Charity shops are great for getting dresses etc and if your into vintage nylons too.
Don't scrimp on wigs, go from real hair ones if you can.
Feel free to PM for advise.
Don't buy the fake breasts from EBay as they are crap. |

Just go to the shops and buy the clothes that you like.. It's quite a buzz. Silk on shaved legs feels great. As for wigs most big city's have shops that sell wigs, they are used to serving men as most of the wigs they sell are for us "girls". Also don't buy cheep novelty shop wigs.. They itch and look shit... Have fun. X |

It's easy if you are prepared. At the check out if you feel uncomfortable you just say "I hope I have made the rite choice for her birthday present" or something like that. Then your confidence will grow. Also self service checkouts are handy at Tesco. But don't buy cheep wigs.. My biggest turn off is a "girl" in a cheap novelty wig. X |

Union Street Bar has a fairly regular trans social event, I believe. You could at least make some friends there who might be able to help you out.
I love the Belfast LGBT nightlife. Union Street Bar is great (especially with that new roof terrace) and it's always worth a trip to Maverick just to see how they've decorated the ladies toilets. I've only been in Kremlin once. I quite enjoyed that, too.
Not a big trans contingent to Belfast, mind you. I've only ever met one other out there (the drag acts don't count.) But that's actually one of the nice things about it. You stand out from the crowd and almost always end up chatting to someone. |
