Apparently.
Sent somebody a requested face pic earlier.
Now because in the face pic I'm nicely clean shaven and in my profile pic I've a couple of days stubble it can't be me and I'm fake.
And they've now deleted their account.
Ho Hum.

Perhaps I'm giving this too much thought but I'm actually quite offended by this!
I know I shouldn't be but....
Perhaps it's the fact I'm given no right of reply.

That's the problem with the internet. In cases like this its the modern day equivalent of the poison pen letter. People can write the nastiest of things in (almost) complete anonimity completely oblivious to or not caring about the effect it has on people.
All I can suggest is that you don't take it personally, these people are actually using the net to hold up a mirror to their own deep frustrations and inadequacies, not yours. Probably the person who sent you that message was a catfish. |

They rejoined on another name so I replied. Only for it to be deleted straight away.
What can I say? It's their loss.
