Hi long story short been talking to a few people on fab and one turns out to be someone i know. I have pretty much stopped talking to them as its freaked me out a bit has anyone else seen someone they know? i know its a small world an all that |

A guy that is a security guard at my place of work
And 2 guys that live in the local area...i don't know them personally but seen them around

How do people know? I am fairly careful we can't be identified from what I post, and can't think that those I've chatted with are any different. The neares we've come is when we were with a guy in a club who was chatting about his background and we twigged that he had attended the same church we once had ( him as a boy at the time we used to go!) |

We always worried someone might recognise one of us in clubs as we both had quite public jobs. I know the usual comment is that they would be there for the same reason but if they recognised you and didn't let on it would make for juicy gossip for them. |

I started a new job a couple of years ago only to discover another man there was on fabs.
He never mentioned seeing me & I didn't either.
As long as everyone is discrete then souldn't be a problem. |

It happens fairly regularly where I live. I'm always discreet and I hope they're the same way.
I saw someone from Fab who uses the same gym as me recently, we recognised each other, smiled and nodded but nothing else was said, which is the way it should be in my eyes. |

I had a one off meet with someone . Then a year later joined my local gym, when I turned up for my induction guess who was the trainer! He was like a rabbit caught in the headlights when I walked in .. what makes me smile is he is quite young and fit as fuck ... All the young gym bunnies flirt with him, including my very fit sister in law ... If only they know his preference is fat old birds ! Lol  |

We found our neighbours from 3-4 doors up - too close to home for playing with so we blocked after advice from the forum. Would happily take them to the local club though if they wanted.
A guy messaged us who XY had recently been on a course with. We came clean instantly and said this is how we know you. We still chat with him. |

Yup! I met a guy who I Had previously worked with but we didn't make much of a big deal of it when he arrived tbh and just got down to business Another guy turned out to live in the same apartment complex and I had never seen him in my life. I can imagine if it's someone you're perhaps relegated to it would be very awkward lol |

Yes I have......old school friends and people that have worked for same company as me. I tend to block them it makes things less complicated in the long run, yes sure we're all on here for the same thing generally but I prefer anonymity and to steer clear of people I know although I am intrigued by it. Just reading the verifications of who I assumed was quite a reserved girl from work showed me she clearly isn't behind closed doors etc |

I've been here about 3 years now and have come across loads of people I know. I work with the public and have recognised various service users (I block straight away and choose not to play locally for this reason!). Also a couple from my antenatal class messaged me a while ago, and countless parents from my daughter's school (including the husband of the head of the PTA!). My old FB met one of the teachers from my daughters school on here. One of my neighbours joined recently and I recognised her and we now go to parties together. Its a very small world! |

I had a guy message me a few months ago he had no pics but sent me one privately of his body (not the face) he knew my name my school my old nickname were I went out at weekends he wouldn't tell me who he was so I blocked him.

The first time it happened it freaked me out but like you say it's s small world and most people on here are very discreet so it doesn't bother me now. I've actually been chatting to 2 guys one I use to work with and one I was in school with and we are planning to meet in the very near future |
