I love the close shave I get from a razor, and its relatively quick and easy, but the next day onwards I get bumps and in growing hairs and red spots etc. Not sexy.
I have used the Magic creams and powder. Works well, but takes time, is a ball ache ( ) and has occassional burnt my more sensitive areas.
So I'm thinking about waxing. Who has done it, do you DIY or get a pro? Is it worth the pain? How often do you to redo? Any spots or in grown hairs? |

I have been waving ALL OVER for years.
The more you get waxed the hair does not grow back. It is super smooth & much better than shaving.
Message me directly if you would like any more information.

Waxed a couple of times, to be honest whilst the result was better short term the risk of ingrowing hairs etc meant I switched back to shaving. Pain wise its not too bad so worth a go and see what you think |

There and to the left a bit |
Had it done once and loved it - wasn't at all awkward and the feel is fantastic only thing for me was to keep it that way meant going back every 4-6 weeks and I couldn't justify the cost.
Place I had it done was not far from you OP will PM you details if you want them? |

I get waxed for Macmillan Cancer Support every couple of years. All I can say is charity hurts, I've got a high pain threshold but I've nearly cried a few times lol. As for in growing hairs, I've never had a problem in the aftermath of a wax so far. |

Go to a pro salon rather than the home kits/wax strips. The expectation of pain was far worse than it actually was but a great smooth finish.
As has already been said, need to keep doing it every 4-6 weeks for best results. Give it a go |
