It's not a worry, recently I got the impression that other younger swingers don't seem interested in older singles and couples.
When you start chatting to people and age is mentioned the conversation seems to go cold.
I just wandered if age is a factor on here

Age is just a number..
I know and have seen guys on here much younger than me, who frankly could do with going on a diet and cutting out the beer.. they look years older. |

I'm 60,though have been told I don't look it.
A lot of people have 55 as an upper limit,very fustrating. Age is just a number,if you can still get an erection & know how to pleasure a lady then I don't see what the problem is. |

Why are you mentioning age in conversation? It says your age on your profile. No need to discuss it surely.
I like older men in general, but on fab they seem to be winey bitches. No offence

Guy's 45 and over are not desired unless they are super fit. which is kinda double standards I think.

I (male) am over 45 and we've had tons of great meets through fab and at clubs. I'm just an average bloke, like most others and we have lots of fun. |

I (male) am over 45 and we've had tons of great meets through fab and at clubs. I'm just an average bloke, like most others and we have lots of fun."
I think it would be fair to say that the bulk of your meets have been at clubs, rather than through Fab? |

From my experience, the more maturer men are the most trustworthy, reliable, honest and sexually skilled!! I've met many from 20 ish to 60 ish and I'd prefer late thirties to mid fifties any day so long as they're my type of course xx |

40s, too old? You are never too old to be who you are. If you don't want to swing and feel too old personally then maybe have a wee think about it all but definitely no age cap on it that's for sure. |

The older you get the more dificult it becomes for most. There are one or two exceptions but we certainly don't get the volume of mesages we once did and that's mainly but not solely because we're out of many people's age range.
There are a lot of things that alter with age the trick is to adapt and enjoy rather than complain |

I've played with several women at clubs and when I've looked at their profiles I've often been out of their age groups and not the type they are looking for. Your profile gets you a certain distance but you can't beat real contact. |

OP age does come into it for some people, we all have our preferences after all.
Perhaps the problem is you are looking for the younger people on fab. When I was in my twenties I tended to go for people 18-35 so someone in their 40's wasn't even on the radar. Nowadays I prefer those around my own age or a bit older. |

Yes, but half prearranged through fab. Either way, being over 45 isn't a show stopper, long way from it. |

The OP might have a point, when I first started attending swingers clubs in my late twenties, I used to get a lot more involved in the physical side with women and couples where I would offend have multiple amounts of play time a night.
Sadly as I've got into my late thirties and developed a middle aged body, the social side of the clubs has become more important as the play invites have seemed to become less of my focus and I'll often go to a club and not even step foot into the play areas.
Could this due to how a lot of people look for the opposite of what they have in their normal lives with swinging so the younger male is more in demand than what they might have at home? |

No worries I'm yet to be convinced about the club scene, as the two visits I've made so far weren't runaway successes, and although I genuinely went with an open mind and no expectations, the urge to leave was stronger than the urge to stay. I do have plans for future visits though, to a different club than those I've been to. I do wish I'd started before my late forties though, as I'm sure younger bods are preferred over mature ones |
