"Two males, one female has been known as MMF since Moses was a lad. Note I didnt say a man, a woman and another man.
Likewise FFM"
Maybe there isn't a difference then. I gues it only works as a distinction if people know about it! |

"Ok thanks - so if two Ms or two Fs are next to each other, it implies those two have sex too. If those letters are separated it suggests not?
Thanks "
That's how I understand it
MFM the men interact with the woman only
MMF emphasis on the men playing together etc |

The order of the letters is NOT a universally used thing. People often claim mmf is 2 bi men and mfm is 2 straight men. But most people don't actually use it that way.
As has been said in other threads, you don't say mmff, if the men are bi. Also, in a larger group, say mmmf, you can't spilt the 'm's.
Assuming people mean bi men when they say mmf, won't end well. You will either avoid something or try something incorrectly.... |

Can we not hit this one directly on the head once and for all! There is NO difference. If there was how would you write a totally straight MMMMF, of which I have many? If the guys or girls playing bi or straight depended entirely upon the nuances of how you happen to order the letters there would be many unhappy swingers out there. We make it perfectly clear in conversation that we expect the guys play straight but are happy for the girls to play bi. |

Great points. I hadn't considered the moresum aspects. I guess it's down to the conversation you have when discussing it.
Thanks |

Exactly - sorry to have pretty much repeated what you said! |
