Hey

So I had a lovely hafada piercing at the base of my cock at the end of July

It's a play piercing and is more for visual erotic effect

The advice is to wait 6-8 weeks before changing the jewellery

I have a medical appointment very soon for a minor unrelated condition and during the pre op the nurse explained ALL jewellery had to be removed x

My question is this - is it safe / practical or even possible to remove the jewellery

I've bought a small clear plastic retainer but perhaps even if I could fit it it would not be appropriate

I really don't want the hole to close up when I'm so close to the healing time - but Internet research suggests it will

Has anyone else had a similar issue and how did they tackle it x

Hi. I was told this but when I explained they allowed me to wear plastic ones mine was my boobs I guess it depends on what they are doing.

Retainers are fine.

I'd say go back to where you had it done with your retainer and ask them to change it for you.

So bought a plastic size 16 gauge retainer

After much fiddling removed the jewellery and inserted the plastic piece x

Piercing only 6 weeks old so not an ideal stage in its healing to be messing with it

Hats off to the fantastic NHS nurse and consultant who didn't bat an eye! X

Had minor surgery a couple of years ago, was told to remove piercings but only had to take out my PA, the nurse taped over my nipple piercings. Ask and you might be able to tape over the hafada.

I've kept the retainer in for a few weeks to hopefully not damage the healing x

Today I'm going to swop it back to the steel CBR x it has a sexier visual effect x
