"Could you rephrase the question please?
Why dude?"
I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you saying that bdsm clubs compare themselves to regular swinging clubs? Not sure how licensing factors into the choice of club. I just assumed that the owners create a club based on what they are interested in. |

As for licensong laws many of the london fet clubs have couples areas. The main difference is the swinging clubs are in a fixed location while the fet clubs swap venues |

I'm my experience get clubs are the poor relation to most swingers clubs as far less money involved, get people don't drink as much as swingers and they often look like they have been set up from the discount isle at Wickes where swingers places are much more plush.
I still don't get what the OP was trying to suggest though. |

Mr B.monkey and Tre.
What I am try to deduce is that too many BDSM CLUBS in London compare to Swingers CLUBS. I don't know if licencing law do favour BDSM compare to swingers club for the simple fact sex don't involved much in BDSM .
Hope I am not speakerling gibberish lol good luck |

You're not clear on your point.
Are you saying that swingers' clubs are saying they are BDSM clubs to get a licence to operate easier?

You think there are more BDSM clubs in London compared to swinging clubs?
Someone can correct me on this but as far as licensing is concerned, I'm sure BDSM will be "tarred with the same brush" as swinging. i.e. sexual activity takes place. I don't think it matters whether sex actually does take place. I know that some BDSM nights may even forbid it but as I always say "perception is 9/10 of the law"!
I do know that BDSM is a bit more mainstream since the advent of Ann Summers and more recently 50 Shades of Grey. This may be why people are getting into that side of things more and businesses are simply trying to follow what is currently popular. |

Come to think of it there DOES seem to be a lot of bdsm clubs in London. I guess the licensing laws favour them due to the fact that there is no sexual activity taking place. |
